Help...Radiator hose replaced...temp light on
sinnaevd replied to BLHTAZ's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
sometimes putting on a new water pump or anything that hooks up to the pulley will do that. it will go away once it works itself into the belt mine (again) is doing th e same thing has somethign to do with how the bearing is pressed in or something. straight from a union workers mouth lol make sure ur belt is tightened "properly" i heard a half an inch up or down play is good. there will obviously be some differences depending on who u here it from. no idea what the real value is -

An opinion from people that know MJ's
sinnaevd replied to mrclean's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Thank you for warm welcome  I did see 0007Bond post an MJ forsale a while ago, but it left me a little weary because I don't know what it would take to import it into the U.S. I've heard stories either way about going through the border. Guess I need to look into it more. that MJ that you saw for sale is in my driveway lol he knows his stuff abotu shipping to the states, and he also used a broker to ship if u want to that route as well it was just a suggestion, there are MJ's everywhere here in windsor (which is 10 mins from detroit if ur unaware as to where i am) i will keep an eye out for you as well. i know of a nice 4x4 but the guy prolly wants an arm and a leg for it -

get an easy out bit brill a tiny hole in, hammer the bit in and turn it out. worked like a champ on the water pump (it was broke flush and corroded in)
-
vaccuum leak was my idle issue its still not 100% but it passed the etest thanksfully check ur pollution bottle thingy underneat the front passenger bottle...or the houses going into ur air box. both of those were gone on mine and once i found the problem it cleaned up nicely also the small hose off of ur vavle cover, it will be the longer of the two. if its plugged it might make it run a little funny

i just got done doing that same thing i put a "T" connection on the hose that comes off the water pump and returns to the bottle. i let the screw cap off the "t" connection and just let it run. worked flawlessly i thought that nosie was the water pump running dry? once i got water and some sticky stuff in there is sounded a lot better. if my darn camera would work i would toss i pic up on here to show u what i did with it the thing eats batteries like a pervert does.... -
