track bar was the cause for me and that was even with bad ball joints and barely good tie rod ends..... also i don't know if you checked out the link to our local club down here but there are tons of people willing to lend a hand, locally I'm sure..

i don't know what gears you have now but there is a carrier break for the dana 30. its at 3.55/3.73. 3.55 and down vs. 3.73 and up. i just had to buy a new carrier because i had 3.55 and down :(

i guess it won't be getting replaced then.

any draw backs? some say you need the back pressure. some say you don't. some say it has nothing to do with back pressure but more of catching extra gases from the motor. either way i don't have emissions down here and I'm sure mine is clogged up after 23 years of use. I'm about to re-route the exhaust and if i can loose it, i will. its mainly a trail rig soooo yeah... thoughts?

FINALLY getting around to buying gears now. damn does it take me forever to do something to the MJ. anyway so i had to get a new carrier for the front cause i had 3.55 and down. it gets here tuesday. i guess I'm going pull the trigger on 4.88s. i could with 4.56s and save some cash through Rob (4wd) but I'm thinking in the end ill be happier with 4.88s. decisions, decisions :dunno: :shake:

did a quick search on yahoo and here you go. i don't remember the size but it wasnt very big. i cut the top and bottom (after cutting it to length) to contour to the shape of the fender better. just jam it in there and forget about it. some of us arent as anal as others about our trucks :D

finally got my 305/75/16 (aka 33") mud grapplers!!! these things are beastin as hell. can't wait to throw them on tomorrow

seems like a waste of money to me. unibody takes cares of it really. if you worried about all those holes, just buy push pins and put them in. a pool noodle or something of the like would really take care of the big issue. the door jams.....

^^^ damn you beat me too it! pool noodles work great for the door jams. i got a blue and cut it to fit on top and bottom, then slid it in. its a snug fit so it kind of holds its self in there. its worth the two bucks or less to do it.
