I love seeing the expanses of terrain out west. I watch these and enjoy the adventures, commentary, tech on the vehicles, etc, but always in the back of my mind I'm thinking, wow... that there are so many places I could shoot. Beautiful country for sure.

Make sure your meter is set to measure AC voltage and not DC.

I don't understand. If you had good spark at the spark plugs, then your CPS was working. 0 Voltage at plug with sensor isolated from the truck? You won't get voltage on the CPS harness side plug. The CPS generates voltage as the flywheel turns in close proximity to it. So to check it, the CPS has to be in its location, and you check the two wires coming off of it looking for AC voltage. I run the multimeter leads from the CPS up to my meter laying on my windshield and crank it over with the key while looking for AC voltage. We're looking for about .5 VAC here. Are the fuel injectors firing? I'd use starting fluid to see if it will fire while cranking it over. If it does, that's the easiest way to isolate it to a fuel issue.

1st, Nice truck. I love that you're keeping the logos on the sides. Preserves it's character. 2d, enjoy Guam. I lived there for 18 months in '89 and '90. Did some traveling from there, but not nearly enough. If you're into War 2 history, you'll never be this close to some of those sites as you are now. I forgot about the Island Wide 35mph speed limit. I had a Honda Interceptor for a while when I was there. Nimitz Hill was a fun ride up and down. 3rd, None of our work (USMC) vehicles had AC in them. We survived. Of course, I was 18 YO and about 140 lbs so it mattered less. Heck, even our barracks AC didn't work a lot of the time. I had the bike and a Nissan 200sx that I bought for 400$. We referred to it as a Guam Bomb. Had to do a headjob on it to get it running. There was a good machine shop in Agana, although I had to get the head gasket set from the states. I'm sure the internet has helped with most things there, like everywhere else. I'd love to go back and visit some day. Looking forward to reading about your progress on the truck.

I love the wide open spaces of the west. I've been out there, but you can forget just how wide open the space really is. Always enjoy the vids, and my wife does as well.

Not MJ specific, but I had a 79 Golden Eagle that had sat for years prior to me getting it. Got it started and it just rattled like crazy due to NO oil pressure. OIl pump lost prime. The 304 is easy to access the oil pump so I filled the pump cavity with KY jelly as it's what I had close by and voila.... oil pressure jumped up and all the noise went away.

I think most folks go through that same thing. For me, I just try to focus on one little thing at a time. For instance, I need to replace both front inner fender liners. I've had them for over a year, but haven't gotten to it yet. That's next on my list though. Once that's done I then identify what's next. I try not to worry about what's 'next' until after I finish what I'm doing now. Takes the stress away for me

Man oh man, been there and had that done to me. Different circumstances but probably same impact on family, stress, and otherwise. Without sounding 'cliche, each one was a learning experince and eventually wound up working for my good. I sure didn't see it at the time though. You surely haven't let anyone here down. Far as I can tell, you don't owe anyone here a thing. Keep your head up. There's someone out there right now that's praying to find a good employee. You just have to connect with that person.

Nor could I find a difference on the manufacturers website so I bought an NTK at the local place. paid a little more for it locally, but if it fails, they'll replace it. Mine seems to be working well and cured my 02 sensor issues.

I mean, is there really any question about that????
