Hi guys I am about to replace my heater core and evap coil. I really have no idea where to get them. I have an 87 4.0. Any links or recommendations would be appreciated.

Couple questions buddy, can you send me some links to purchase that heated core and evap coil for an 87 4.0? I just want to get the right ones. Also any luck in finding another football and servo to test on the cruise control? Appreciate it!

You have a picture of what an oem evap coil looks like so I can try to match it up?

I definitely want to avoid used. I would think someone still makes them.

Hi guys, sometime this summer I will be tearing into the dash and replacing the heater core and evap coil. Heat works pretty well but no A/C. I am looking for recommendations on what to get. I usually get stuff from Rock Auto or Crowne. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks

Can’t blame you there brother. I’m just thrilled it’s working. I actually just got 19mpg running my cruise on my commute.

I have an auto 4.0. I’m not sure either. My biggest question is, it’s set all the way clockwise from the factory, what happens if it start turning it counter clockwise. Guess I could try it and see what happens. I guess I just assumed all the way clockwise was as sensitive as it got.

I was wondering about the sensitivity setting on the module. Mine was set to factory specs which is all the way clockwise I think. How is yours set?

Not to hijack your thread but I just had cruise installed and mine works great going down the road like that. My problem is if I go up a hill I lose like 10mph. It’s like it doesn’t hold. Do you have that issue at all?

So I just blow into the big hose connected to the servo? How will I know if it holds

So i just walked down and checked. The button is adjusted properly. It is pushed all the way in

So the button has to be pushed in while the brake is not compressed, correct?

My speed when I set it is spot on. So my centering is fine. I thought the low setting was just for when it engaged at say 30mph. I could be wrong though. I must admit though I still have no idea what the sensitivity screw does. It is as far clockwise as it will go.

That was me Cruiser. Just got my CC hooked up and now I have an intermittent stalk with no module. On a side note, with this new stalk is the module hard to install?
