  1. Ok so I took out the switch and got it the right way I think. When I plug everything back in the brake lights are on all the time. It’s a pretty tight fit so I can’t really tell if the spring is moving or not. Not sure if it’s a wiring issue or that switch
  2. I will do that. Thank you.
  3. I may take you up on that. I need to money under and look at mine. It seems mine may not be on right. I really don’t know what right looks like though.
  4. You don’t happen to have a good picture of how that looks assembled the correct way do you?
  5. Perfect. Thanks. I’ll take a look in the morning.
  6. I can’t really tell anything on that picture. Sorry man.
  7. No rush buddy. Just when you get a minute. Lol
  8. Your talking that blue spring in the middle? Should that spring be a bit loose?
  9. Can you show me what that looks like?
  10. I’m not sure I follow. That brake switch is bolted on pretty tight.
  11. What does it look like and where does it go?
  12. You lost me. Lol. I’m not sure what it is supposed to look like.
  13. They are nice and bright when they finally come on. I refinished my taillight lens about a year ago, so the lens looks great too.
  14. Hey guys I have a question. I added Eaglescouts cruise control kit to my 87, thanks by the way Eaglescout. My issue is my brake lights don’t work until my pedal is all the way down almost to the floor. I have a lot of travel in my pedal to begin with. Is there a way to adjust anything so my brake lights come on as soon as I hit my pedal? It seems to me that the white vacuum switch has to have the plunger all the way out before my lights come on. I could be wrong though. Any help would be appreciated. I have people pull up next to me occasionally and say my brake lights don’t work.
  15. Thank you. I will get it ordered.
  16. I hopped in that website and click on the MJ and it pulls up the 87-90 xj I think. It looks like a lot of cables. I guess I never payed that much attention but do we have that many cables? I so love how he labels them though.
  17. Anyone have any good leads on where to get some replacement battery cables for my 87 auto 4x4? I’m not quite sure what to grab. Links would be great. Thanks guys
  18. Hey buddy I have a question for you. Can you get me a part number for a Mopar idle air control valve? I think I’m going to change mine out. I get this random high idle and I just put in my modified throttle body and it just happened the other day. Sounded like my engine was going to blow up. It finally went down after turning it on and off a few times. Thanks buddy
  19. I second this. Jeff just did mine the middle of July. I have the 4.0 Auto. He noted it to 60mm. I don’t notice a huge difference, but I do notice a difference. It’s an upgrade I am glad I did!
  20. Well I somehow got it fixed for now. I screwed in my new resistor and sprayed some contact cleaner in the plug. I have the middle speed now. I will say it looks like the plug where the tan or light brown wire is, is a bit melted but not bad. Down the road how would I go about fixing that plug?
  21. I will take a peak later tonight and see what I find
  22. Which switch? The grey one under the passenger dash? I did buy a new resistor but that’s not it. Lol
  23. Yep did that one. Its weird to me the middle speed isn’t function right but the rest are.
