I was thinking since all the buying and selling that goes on here, we should have a feedback section. Kinda like if someone is selling something and it gets bought, the person that bought it can leave either positive or negative feedback for the seller. So that in case there is any shady characters on here(not that there is that I know of) people on here can know who to try to avoid. Just a thought I'm throwing out there.

Yea, that sounds good to me, aside from the almost 5 hour drive for one of us, and a matter of where to wheel. Besides, it would give me a good opprotunity to see the 3800.

Definitely would. -
I have the 4 piece on my '88, and I know for a fact that it is the original glass, as I am the third owner of it. My mom's step sister is the original owner from back in '87 when she bought it, then I bought it in '97, but was under 18 so it was in my mom's name, I got the title in '01. The only glass that has been replaced on it was the windshield. Here's a better pic from the back of it.

Yep, 5 acres of nothing but Jeeps....

YES, most definitely, I only know of one yard within a 25 mile radius of me that has ONE MJ in it.

Hey, I'm just glad I finally kept a link that turned out to be useful. And just look at all that gold in that pic.....WOW, that's prolly more MJ's than everyone on the board has total, including pete and eagle.

I know that feeling, I have about 50 or 60 sites in my favs. I just moved everything around so the ones I actually go to all the time or know I will need are at the top. Glad I could help ya Alex. Transformation and mud pics of the X are gonna be put on here soon.

I know there was one posted on here not too long ago as well, and I actually saved it to my favorites. http://www.jwjeep.com Was this the one ya were thinking of?

Yea, I did, but haven't gotten around to putting the grille in yet. I'm waiting for funds to get the headlight bezels first. The one I got didn't have the bezels on it, I don't think any of them did. But I've been going between $100 to $300 negative in my checking account every month since Nov. and that's mainly only paying my bills.

I can tell you from my '88 2.5, with the cat and a glasspack on it, prepared to be disappointed with the sound, unless you like the semi-ricey sounding exhaust. Mine sounds like a swarm of angry hornets chasing me. I have the glasspack welded to the cat and about a foot to a foot and a half of pipe after it.

Correct me if I'm wrong someone, but wasn't there a post a while ago about an MJ that had an old J truck nose built onto it? I do remember the MJ was silver and gawd awful ugly because of everything else put onto it, but the front end looked decent.

Yep, I have to admit that I too like C.W. McCall, can't take a drive down the interstate with my cousin without listening to convoy.

From what I've been told by a friend of mine the biggest motor that could fit under the hood without removing the inner fenders and some majorly extensive modification would be a 400. I had been thinking of dropping a 454 in my '88, but was told it would never work. Is my friend just bull of BS?

I still don't even have one, or the headlight bezels. Money has been too tight for me since I moved into my new place. Looks real nice though, I don't think I've ever seen a factory black one that shiny before.

They look almost like they were made for your TJ. I like it.

You guys and your cats. I don't have any on the 86, just straight true duals to glass packs, then the rest of the pipe out under the rear bumper. Quite loud when I get on it, but luckily so far the cops havent said nothing about it, and Ive had one follow me up a hill that I had to kick it down to get up.

Geez, I guess that us mid-westerners arent very important. Sorry, I'm going on only about 12 hours of sleep since Friday and I'm going a lil

Beautiful bird Jeepco. Would you happen to know the color on it? I think it would look pretty sharp on an MJ.
-
I don't know if I really should be doing it, but for almost anything, I use the clear epoxy, holds real well on everything Ive tried it on.

The one I had seen was a fiberglass shell that the guy had custom made himself to exact specs, just as this XJ is. I'm actually looking for the link again as I type this, hopefully I can find it again, I had it favorited on my old computer, but it fried, so I couldn't get the info off of it. EDIT: I can't seem to find the link now, but I'll keep looking for it. I know I seen it somewhere.

Pete, I don't blame ya, $100 for a 17' aluminum canoe is too good of a deal to pass on.
-
I don't remember where I seen it, but someone actually DID make an MJ body for his RC truck. I'll have to look to see if I can find the link again.

Man, I only wish I had pictures of when I had to use my 88 2wd MJ to flat tow my friend's 85 F-250 with 8" lift on 35's. Thankfully I only had to tow him for 15 miles, it toasted my front brakes and warped the rotors beyond belief, I wouldn't recommend it to any MJ owner to do.
