  1. Gongrats John. BTW, I love the middle name :brows:
  2. I keep seeing MJ's around a lot more, but they're usually going down the road in the opposite direction as I am. Maybe if I had good timing I could just toss one out my window and hope it either sticks to the side or lands in the box.
  3. Looks like a fun project. Can't beat the price either. Nice find.
  4. What usually works for me is cold water :D . OH, sorry, wrong shrinking.
  5. Must be nice to have such a clean MJ. I'm afraid to look under the 88's carpet.
  6. Meh, $90 works for me. I have it in my account and ready to go when you are. Just let me know.
  7. I had a feeling that you weren't done with your mods on that thing. I see I was right. Looks pretty good so far.
  8. I could only wish. Although if I were to build something like that, it wouldn't be as shoddy, and I'd save the tailgate in case someone needed it.
  9. I DO know what's going on, and I'm not gonna tell anyone, as it's not my place to do so. Good luck Pat, and remember what I told ya on messenger. ;)
  10. Looks good so far. Can't wait to see the finished project in person.
  11. Hey now, that wasn't a shot at me, was it? :laughin: Just giving ya a hard time man. I do agree with the question though. Kinda makes a person wonder.

    Bicycles

I don't have any pics of mine, but I really should get some. I have a Mongoose Sniper 25th Anniversary edition freestyle bike in lime green. Bought it brand new in 99 and don't use it very often for the simple fact that it's an anniversary edition.
  13. Was searching around on E-Bay and found this lil gem of an old Mopar truck. Take a look on the front (yes, the front) of it. http://tinyurl.com/283k5c
  14. Yep, I'm in for sure, not gonna miss this for anything.
  15. Y'all are lucky, my principal was ever so watchful and had the local police watch the school at night the entire last week I was in school. I guess we all got enough pranks in while we were still in school that he knew something big was gonna happen. So as our payback to him having the police watch the school, none of us showed up for our graduation ceremony. Apparently he wasn't too happy about that one.
  16. Any day works for me. So, whenever we decide, I'm all for it and good to go.
  17. My guess would be that the battery is fine, and it's some kinda wiring. I'd have guess the wires on the starter first, since sometimes it don't start for ya. Hopefully someone more knowledgable will chime in.
  18. Here's what I used to have in my '88 back before I had to sell it to get some parts for the truck. 2 12" Kicker Comp's with a 300W Alpine V12 amp. Had it at a DB contest and it hit 135.4 DB. Not bad for only having $200 into the entire system.
  19. colfax, near eau claire WOW, you're only about 30 miles from me. I'm originally from elk mound, but now live in menomonie. I still get to colfax pretty frequently as I have a few friends around that area. Its red with with a roll bar, black willy's rims, and diy black herculiner bedliner whats yours look like Which one would ya like to know about? My 88 is dark blue 2wd with the factory white rims and has gray side vents and grille on it. It sounds like there's an angry swarm of hornets after it. And my 86 is a 4wd black on black with beyond loud exhaust on it. Plus me myself am not too hard of a person to miss. Face full of holes and a long almost red goatee.
  20. 10-4 Joe. you're good to ride with me...perhaps we can get either your 2wd repaired the week before, or even get your engine built for the up-coming swap before we roll out to attica Or, who knows, maybe if we set our minds to it we could get both done. Just kidding man, that would be a bit to do in such a short time.

  22. The 18th sounds good to me too. I more than likely won't have the 86 there, (unless by some miracle I come up with the money to do the motor swap and Jeepco and I have time to do it) and with the 88 being only 2wd, I'll more than likely be hitching a ride with Jeepco.
  23. Yea, I was dumb and decided to take it off of an about 3 1/2 foot high dirt mound at about 45 MPH. Ended up nose diving it pretty hard, leaving about a foot or more deep divot in the ground, about 30 or so feet after the mound. After looking at a few other front end pics, I have to say that even I think the PS inner C is out of whack. NOW, after it all, I remember that I shoulda grabbed ahold of everything under there and checked for any play in anything.

    Child safety?

I agree with them both completely.
  25. That's just plain INSANE. I'm glad when I flew my 88 I never got anywhere close to that. Although, mine was pretty jarring.
