This is what I bought. When I painted the seat belts it sucked the paint in and I tried rubbing it out. The door panels it sticks good and it’s flexible it feels like the original panel before the paint. -

I did a test spray on some seat belts and was happy. I did buy the plastic prep part#38353 and vinyl prep part#38343 to make sure the paint sticks -

I payed $1350 for my 86 base 2wd automatic from Daveysjeeps in February 2020. The floor pans were very bad but the rest of the truck was pretty clean and the paint looks decent at 10ft.

Not yet. We have been crazy busy at work and our friend that has the body shop has been slammed also. Hopefully it’s a bad winter in southwest Michigan so we both can slow down and get started on it.

I wouldn’t turn it down if I had the cash

Couldn’t you just take the door lock cylinders out and have a lock smith cut a key?
-
Check to make sure you did not install calipers on wrong side, make sure blenders are at the highest point on caliper. Did you bench bleed the master cylinder if you didn’t you will never get the air out of system. If you don’t double check calipers and not bench bleed you could run gallons of brake fluid and never get the air out

Did you have this problem before you started or is this after you changed everything

I have run synthetic in my 01 wrangler since it was new I run 10w40 mobile1 no problems at all. If I were you I would not change. If you have higher miles on the WJ it will probably start leaking more oil than it does now. On the Mj keep what you are doing and add zinc additives to the oil or switch to high mileage oil or diesel oil. You need the additives in the oil because of the lifters. Oil manufacturers took out some of the additives because newer car run roller lifters and don’t need zinc and other additives in it any more. From what I have been told that you can wipe out a cam with today’s oils in pre 95 cars. We run 15w40 Mobil delvac in our classic cars from our 49 jeepster to our 69 396 camaro. But do what you want, do the research And make a decision that works best for you

This is the Jeep that started it all for our family. My dad bought it brand new in august of 73. It was the first 74 that the dealership had gotten in. In 1999 it underwent a full restoration with a four wheel drive hardware glass body and fenders. In 2018 my brother sent in pictures to greenlight and in 2019 they used it in there line up of die cast cars.

Lol edwardsburg is about 15 miles from where I live. Let me ask a friend of my dad. He is a engineer that worked in the van conversion and rv industry from the early 80’s to the 2010’s in Elkhart and surrounding area (Elkhart and edwardsburg is probably 5 or so miles apart). If anyone knows anything about LER industry’s it would be him. Never know someone might have one stashed away.

Yes I know I saw that on YouTube. I imagine any good professional thief could pick in seconds, But your average joe crook probably can’t. I’m only trying to make it so if they do try they will have to earn it. Puck locks on the doors of a in-closed trailer are way better than pad locks have heard to many stores from local contractors and others that had pad locks cut with bolt cutters.
-
Step two on trailer security I’m changing all the locks on our in-closed trailers to puck locks. They will have to be good at picking locks or have sharp drill bits.
-
Thanks for your service!!! Good luck in your new endeavors where ever it leads you.
-
Got my first line of trailer defense today for our in closed car trailer from proven industry’s next is puck locks on the doors
