  1. I'd try testing with a known good battery, or heavy guage jumper cables from another vehicle/battery and see if you get any starter movement. If voltage is good at the terminals and connections are good, try the starter.
  2. Yeah, I actually can't even get it to send out the email so I can verify registration. :dunno: So I don't know if it's a glitch or a mailer setup issue, but it is an issue.
  3. Understandable. And 3.0.7 is close enough to current, that any improvement in upgrading would be slight, at best... However the simplest, as in less than 5 minutes, method for spam control I have found is this http://www.thesamet.com/blog/2006/12/21 ... bb-forums/ as far as the new users breaking email and captcha protection. I remember using Invision back when it was free, way back when. (But that was a simpler time...) It was actually great, but alas is no longer free. And now it seems like you have to stay one step ahead all the time. I'm still trying to find more details on fusion, even on their website, I don't see non-commercial pricing. Is the software itself free for non-commercial use?
  4. Hmm, What version of phpBB are you currently running? It might take a bit of work, but it should be possible to get it up to date without losing any data.
  5. ouch. and then paying for tech support on top of that? Let's start a donation fund... But on a serious note, I don't know if this is a large enough community to warrant the purchase. However, is the newer version of phpBB any better than the one your running? I just get a bad feeling about running fusion, mainly because I'd never even heard of it until now. Is it stable?
  6. I would assume the bulb is burned out. Well, at least that's where I'd start. Next would be a wiring problem, but my first vote is definitely the bulb. :wrench:
  7. Yeah, somehow I missed the word E3 in the post, just kept seeing outlaw. But, I too have heard nothing but good things about them. Which means my first response could still be valid, op? However, there are always a lot of factors I suppose.
  8. Never even heard of the plugs. Are you sure it was defective plugs and not an issue with the honda fouling them prematurely?
  9. The roll pan I've been drawing up will be pretty solid and tie into the frame. Hopefully. Still trying to work that part out. My point exactly. As opposed to having the crumple of a bumper (if properly designed), you now have direct impact to the frame. So a hard hit would cause more structural damage. Don't get me wrong, I love the look, and have always considered one... just always kept that thought in the back of my head. Correct me if you see it differently, however.
  10. Yea, I've had the bumper off a few times. (In my mind the damn thing can't ever be too straight, and it was slightly tweaked when I bought it.) Always thought a rollpan would look awesome, just hope you don't get hit.
  11. Harbor Freight? Then again, I like really cheap stuff.... But a loaner may be the way to go if you can find a store thats got one, unless you plan on making it a habit, then it might be handy having the tool.
  12. Yup, got the same window in my 1991. EDIT #2: Actually I see what you might be talking about, how it seems to protrude slightly outwards on the edges, on second though the outer part looks a little different but the rest looks generally the same, I suppose it could be an aftermarket, or replacement. Nice... logs ya got there. :brows: Edit: Does your seat go all the way to the back of the cab? It looks that way... mine doesn't. :dunno:
  13. vBulletin is awesome. However, it does have a hefty price tag. I have used it before, and it is great, but I can't tell you if it is worth the money to you. If you want I can set up a *test* vBulletin on my server and give you guys privileges to play around with it, or any other forum software for that matter. Let me know. Edit: BTW, pricing: https://www.vbulletin.com/order/index.php?do=step1
  14. That is usually set up with your domain and/or hosting provider, and created in a control panel such as cPanel on your host.
  15. Anything is probably better than stock. Flowtech's not top of the line, but the one's I have heard sound is good... I havn't run a muffler in a long time, so what do I know. :dunno: Edit: It's basically a glass pack. (glorified cherry bomb/ vice versa depending how you see it) Theres plenty of videos of jeeps running cherry bombs/ glass packs on youtube. That should give you a good idea of the sound.
  16. You are right, the frame rails may be just fine... and the truck could still be worth while. Hmm I guess I'm just spoiled... :shake:
  17. Hey man, I understand. I was just hassling ya! :D
  18. Those actually look decent, and you can't beat the price... if you are proficient in MIGging or got a buddy... get on it!
  19. Gotcha. I had to close my last phpBB forum for the same reason (spammers managing to get by email registration) and I simply got tired of sorting through the crap and deleting the fakes. Hopefully the transition is smooth, let me know if you would like any help or insight. Good Luck with it.
  20. You northerners and your rusty Comanches :dunno: ;)
  21. Do they have a phone number? Do you own a phone? :brows:
  22. Find someone proficient in MIG welding for the body panels and weld in *galvanized* steel, and do bodywork over that. However if the frame rails are shot, you may want to reconsider the purchase. edit: and no the bed isn't terribly hard to remove, there should be a write up on this forum.
  23. Corn is for eating.
  24. My 1967 Mustang as it sits now with Paint... (and an arduous theft recovery :headpop: ) 302, 351 Heads -- Ported/Polished Roller Rockers Anti-pump up Lifters Moderate Cam -- Duration 280 Hooker Headers Holly 4B 650 Built by Chuck Ngyutten and Tuned by Grubbs And of course, the custom SubSonic valve covers... :D If you can't tell I love the car, but I'm not sure how long I can afford to keep it.
  25. Yes, late model intake, early h.o head (they also make an awesome flowing aluminum head good for like 30-40hp), 5.0 injectors, a set of headers, and you'll get a nice exhaust note and reasonable power on 87 fuel without breaking the bank or hurting drivability.
