  1. What did you give for it? I'm still playing with the "Winter XJ" project that I decided to dig into. So far I'm about $1200 into it and I've still got to put all of the pieces together...
  2. Up to the U.P. to see family.
  3. Are you running a 231 T-case? I've probably got a front driveshaft in my pile. Let me confirm that I have one once I get home tonight. We'll be driving through Green Bay on Nov 18th, heading north for the week of Thanksgiving, coming back down on Nov 27th. Good luck finding the rear shaft, I had to make mine.
  4. Wow. How did I miss this one? VERY NICE TRUCK. Black paint looks amazing when its clean, no doubting that here.
  5. Don't run FRAM filters. They don't hold the oil in them like a quality filter will. I run WIX filters. Napa Filters are also good.
  6. i will be watching closely. Bet you feel like a proud Papa..

    Bed Swaps

My first truck, Dad and I paid $75 for a '78 in 1999. Was a California truck, restored it and drove it for two years in H.S. Lots of memories... The aftermarket did make stepside beds for them too. Pretty sure they were all fiberglass. Check this one out... http://www.luvtruck.com/Gallery/BrentMarshs78ReedCityMichi/index.html

    Bed Swaps

I remember someone had put a mid '90's Ranger Stepside bed on a MJ and posted pics of it here somewhere. Didn't look too bad...IMHO

    Bed Swaps

I don't think I'd ever do it, but I would be interested in the results... Seeing as you have nothing better to do, this will only help keep you out of trouble :clapping:
  11. VERY Clean! Have fun with it!
  12. Go for it. I haven't sorted those buckets of parts yet. It might take me some time to find them.
  13. Let me check, pretty sure I have a few in a box in my parts Jeep.
  14. That motor did not come out of a '90 Cherokee. It is positively an HO version of the 4.0L. :D Have fun with the build.
  15. Get that Wrangler cage off of there!
  16. People will make anything just to turn a profit...wow.
  17. But at least you have the brain that you need to do the job, you got him beat there!
  18. Thats an odd one. Any idea how it got that way?
  19. So you can or cannot push the clutch pedal to the floor? Pretty basic swap, hard to mess up the hydraulics. Possibly an issue with the clutch disc and pressure plate, maybe the wrong one? A "non-driving" vehicle is a good way to knock some $$$ off quickly. Does it run? Did he put the HO flywheel back on it or keep it Renix?
  20. I've got them, the lower and upper pieces for each door. Sending you a PM. - Brent
  21. Found this while searching craigslist. http://toledo.craigslist.org/cto/2653475000.html
  22. I'll check on this tonight. Thinking I have some.
  23. The hockeystick type? What color are you looking for?
  24. I agree, but good luck finding the OEM HO A/C delete parts. Didn't realize that there was a difference over the Renix ones? Why would they have changed it?
  25. Blah. Hold out for an OEM one. Steel pulley and solid mounted aluminum bracket.
