yes sir!!!! lol when you gonna be home? Next planned trip is July 30th weekend. Bringing the car, not either of the MJ's...
  2. That is a good deal. My Dad was given one of these to tow behind his Willy's pickup once he gets it done. A-lot rougher shape than the one you have there. I do believe your floors are not original though, they don't match the beat up one in Dad's... I never checked, can you fit a 4' wide piece of plywood in the bed?
  3. Just listened to the whole thing. Great listening! Also, I absolutely love looking at my CC calendar this month!
  4. So why does the LSR-2 have a cargo light switch, but no cargo light?

So you got rid of the XJ and came over to the real world eh?
  6. Yep. Coldwater. Any affiliation with BDS Suspension? Competitors in the same town?
  7. My '90 MJ spent lots of time in Florida. I have no idea where my '90 XJ came from. The XJ's is the worst, its so hard you could use it to take dents out of sheet-metal.
  8. If I could be so choosey, it seems that the part numbers changed on these from '87-'88 and '89-'90. Both of the ones that I have that are "junk" are off of my '90 Jeeps. The '88 one is in great shape. I'd prefer the '87-'88 model...p/n 5300 2736 - I found this number from the parts catalog, I could not find the number on the boot that I have. '89-'90 model p/n 5300 6196 I have verified that both "junk" boots have this number on them.
  9. I'm actually in the market for two of these. The ones I have now are starting to dry rot / crack / decay. They are not flexible anymore and need to be replaced. Let me know what you've got and your price. I'm only looking to buy good ones that are not dry rotted and are still very flexible. I have one good one out of three vehicles so I do know that they exist. Thanks, - Brent
  10. Good luck. You've got quite a few more things to change over if you want to run it with the Renix system.
  11. the news or general population must not have acknowledged those then cause i never even heard of one touching down by you let alone 3. oh, and i never lost power. good for you. calm down, and enjoy being a cynic we've had 3 touch down in the field next to me. one continued on to highway 36 and loomis, right next to frey auto, without major housing/ag damage. glad you didn't lose power. must be convenient to have a "fact" to base an argument off of just because you have an issue with a person who voices their opinions. I'm sorry that you put hoes before bros, and don't let $#!& just brush off your shoulder. Yep. This is why we love you Pat.
  12. What color?
  13. I think (I don't have anything handy to back it up) that you are going to see more issues other than the AC stuff between the '93 (4.0L High Output) and the '90 (4.0L Renix). The two models are not interchangeable. You're talking different computers, different flywheels/flexplates, fuel pumps, etc. here... The Renix years were from '87-'90. Everything after that was H.O. '91's were a bit of an oddball though.
  14. I've got a box of random connectors at home, I'll check tonight to see what I've got. Manual or Auto? 4.0L? What Year?
  15. Lost power here from 7:30 to 11. VERY windy at the beginning of the storm. Took down lots of trees in Evansville, I guess Edgerton got it pretty bad too. I was watching all the old growth ones around the house sway back and forth. Neighbor had a younger tree fall, but everything here stayed up. Maple leaves and branches all over the yard though. We've got a Honda we use at work for bridge jobs. Works great and we put it through the paces often.
  16. I bought one last winter. 1994 6 cyl. We knew it had a bad trans when we bought it (42RE). The transmission eventually blew up, but we were able to make it home and ended that trip doing 12 mph max in first gear for the last 10 miles or so. While we had it we enjoyed it. I wish the trans would have been good from the get go. It was a nice Jeep to drive and it did great in the snow. I liked all of the creature comforts it offered and the seats were darn comfy.
  17. Just by judging what you've done with the other MJ, this one will be a piece of cake for you. That said, asking price is King of your decision now...
  18. Done that Unit Bearing job a time or two... good choice on the Timken replacement.
  19. Looks like lots of FUN!
  20. Don't turn your back on this place. You'll regret it later. Unlike the experiences you've apparently had, I've found the MJ community to be one of the best groups of people to buy parts from and sell parts to. I've sold many things on here and I've found many parts that I needed here. This is the only forum that I check multiple times each day. The rest of the forums out there aren't worth my time. I agree with everything Geonovast said. He's dead on.

Are the engine parts for a 4.0 or a 2.5? I'm assuming 2.5L because of the AX-5 mention, just checking.
