  1. Sounds like a future bed/frame for sale...
  2. You talking about renting a box truck just to tow it? Edit, I don't see why it would be a horrible idea with someone riding brakes in the other truck... its got possibly 8x the stopping power the comanche has lol
  3. Uhaul said they have nothing to tow it
  4. Once I have mine repaired.. I may attempt a long dangerous tow to recover my dodge3500 from my folks place. 130miles with roughly 8klb behind. Only spot I'm iffy on... is the one bridge I'll have to cross. Jacksonville's buckman bridge, Southside i295 west from i95. But that still seems safer than the curves I'd have to navigate if I took i95 north to my exit. Lol
  5. Assuming you already have the 95 harness in the cab too... The harness from the 95 might already have the plugs in the locations for the p/s p/w near the doors. All you may have to do is run the wire in the door and plug n play, maybe add a fuse at the absolute minimum.
  6. I left it on, I figured by the time it actually rusts out I'll throw a turbo at it too. don't remember actual time frame, but I want to so 5-10m idle I could still grab the header. (Had to tighten something up so I had to test it lol)
  7. Pacesetter headers actually states it voids warranty on headers if you wrap them. (Found out after the fact)
  8. Anyone else have any thoughts?
  9. I mean everything except that part... hench the thread. Lol
  10. I already put everything back on 2weeks ago. Haha. Trying to feel for its necessity
  11. Yeah... I double checked.. both kits (timing chain and gasket kits) I got didnt come with that bumper/cushion... Took off to do timing. Never did since I owned it over a year decided its time.
  12. Now that was fun to figure out... thought I was gonna break the cover getting it out!!
  13. That is the old one... I don't recall a new one in the set so.... if this is like vital, i have to dig again. (Facepalm)
  14. Simple as f---. Done it twice on mine now, once to replace and once to do timing set. Might want to check timing chain while your that deep
  15. Theoretically speaking... what's the worst that could happen if you forget to put the guide in on the side of the cover...? (With a new timing set)
  16. Yeeesss pics! I'm using an amazon relay box
  17. Been trying to the last week so far. Just checking for "fit"
  18. Nothing is wrong with my current one, but if I can get my hands on a match I have an experiment I want to try. I always wanted to try out shortening the amount of wires in the bay. My idea is to move all the relays over to the corner next to the airbox. I think it would make the engine bay "cleaner" without the number of wire looms that run across the firewall and in front of the header panel as well. I'm aware of a few that need to stay over on that side but it should make a lot less wire mess. It would be even more beneficial with the battery relocate mod
  19. What year harnesses are the same to the 88 for engine bay. Mj/xj 87-89? Is there any major difference
  20. If it's an automatic that might be the neutral safety switch? Not sure if our jeeps had those, no real experience with the autos
  21. Front and back are on point. As I said everything else is within tolerance.
  22. So. "The truth is in the pudding" right? Nothing is welded in yet. Everything is only dry fitted so far. I have a coworker who use to work at a body shop going to come take a look at the vehicle before I weld it together, give me some piece of mind in making sure I have them in the right spots. That said.. yall are probably right, it might need a little frame time. Frame thoughts aside. What do you think so far? This seems to be the only problem. Hood, and pass corner ( where the radiator support meets the front fender inner structure) though both of these came from the donor, and "should" be straight. Everything else lines up.
