    Right-o, plus my truck has a leak gremlin! I am trying to eliminate it, along with doing a few upgrades along the way :)

    Not when this same PO decided to paint the Comanche / Laredo / Oil Pan Flame Orange, along with adding a false 4.0LiterHP emblem on the tailgate, also painted in Flame Orange :/

    I had enough of worrying about losing trim, along with the PO painting every lil piece of chrome and trim OD green! Plus, the possibility of water leaks. I have yet to figure out this lil gremlin!

    FWIW/FYI: My Comanche wasn't of stock height when I bought it. Therefore, it won't ever be restored to being in the minds eye of the purist. So if you are a preservationist and think that anyone who changes things on these trucks, as being wrong, please look elsewhere. Your comments will be met with animosity. Nothing that I have owned in the past, remains stock. And it isn't going to start with this truck. Cheers!

    Who's is this. Anyone on here? Since I bought mine (April 2017), this is the only other Comanche that I have seen. Please reply, if you are here!

    Just by mathematical calculations, I figure that my Comanche bears a very low build number. eaglescout526 stated that it was built on 9/16/1986. New model vehicles, are released in August of each year. So, 31 days in August, plus 16 more days in September equals 47 days of build. With 23,251 LWB built in 1986. 23,251/12 months equals 1,938 trucks built per month. 1,938/31 days equals 63 trucks built per day. 63x47 days equals 2,961. so if any of these generalities hold true, my truck could be the 2,915th to the 2,961st truck off of the assembly line.

    Additionally, I reached out to Advanced Fiberglass Concepts. They have received rave reviews of their 4.5" bulge front fenders and their pricing is more than fair, including shipping and handling, so me thinks they will get my cash, for that portion and I may reach out to Hannemanns for their bedsides or just keep it stock, as my bed is nearly perfect, plus its a LWB bed. I am not sure that they offer LWB bedsides!

    I read this thread through and through (actually scoured it). Pete M. sent me the link on FB, after I messaged him of my intentions. I will continue to follow this thread, as what you are doing to this MJ is very similar to I want to do with mine. Cept for all the expensive suspension stuff. Maybe that will get done, if I can snag 'new-to-me parts, through-out time! I seen that you offered to build a harness for another CC member, would you be willing to extend that offer to me? And if so, can you PM me an approximate quote? Lovin your truck build, thus far!
