On a rear axle of an MJ, what is the measurement between the backer plate and the outboard side of the leaf spring perch? Please advise :)

To find seat covers for my truck, without paying a kings ransom, was almost like trying to find a Unicorn. Now, these are not the original color, but most of my truck isn't original anyways, and won't be, as I modify it. As a matter of fact, none of my 35+ vehicles have ever remained original. Those seats are out of an XJ, but my MJ seats are the same winged back covers. I will likely have the grey vinyl professionally dyed to black.

I guess that would be great.

Can anyone furnish me the exact sizes of the rubber hoses that lead into and out of the thermostat housing. So that I can get replacements, before I remove them. The hose that is in the 11 o'clock position is somewhat ballooned as well as really stuck on the thermostat housing, therefore I would like to replace it. FYI: it is a stock Renix 4.0 liter motor.

I won't be satisfied with that fix for very long. I am one of those guys who watches his gauges, as I drive and even though my truck did not overheat, my temp gauge was at its highest, since I have owned it, with that cardboard in front of the rad. I may decrease the size of that coverage, for the time being.

Yep that is what I did. I need to get my XJ back to being complete before I begin removing parts off of my MJ. I need reliable transportation daily.

It is a system for side pipes, but I do not have that setup. I will have the header bead blasted and then coated.

I am buying this true dual pacesetter header, from Curtis (who owned, Comanche Ranch, York, PA). Curt had to shut it down due to being diagnosed with Parkinsons, 3 years ago. Curt told me that this setup was only on the truck for 9 months.

I hear-tell that these were supposed to go on the inside of the glass, but my inspection stickers and window manufactures trademark would impede the appearance if I had done that!

The exhaust shop who installed my catback SS, lied to me about my current manifold. They told me that it was cast and they could not weld that. They lost me, with that lie. I won't go back. I emailed them and left them with a serious tongue lashing.

About to find out. Taking it to a exhaust shop, who installed the SS cat back on it a year ago, this morning. Hopefully if it is cracked, that they can weld it.

In the eliminator, he thought about swapping a 4.6 stroker, but that was the year that he found out that he was sick.
