No. The catalogue is showing me that all years use the same part number. As far as I know my truck is pretty unmolested which is nice. I haven't replaced the filler neck tubes. The only thing I can think of is the baffle but I can't find any info on the baffle being an issue for the tanks and the tank I have is an original 16 gal tank.

You need two rivnuts to put into the hood and then whichever bolt will go into those rivnuts. There should be two holes already in the hood to accept the rivnuts for the proper length of the bracket. Like Dzimm said. The harness is already in the engine bay. If not it’s literally just a straight power wire. But the wire for the lamp should be around the area of the blower motor and the coil. Make sure the lamp and bracket make good ground. Had the lamp not work due to the grounds not being great.

I have a round keychain with a leather back that has the AMC logo with Jeep on it and an AMC Jeep flag. Other wise that's it. Chrysler pretty much has hostile control of the AMC logo and so there not many cool things out there. Like I would love to have a neon clock that says AMC Jeep on it.

I would do an MPFI set up on another 2.5L but finding a 2.5L of that config is not an easy feat itself.

That looks a bit like a mess. Well the vac lines will need to be straightened up. Also run through cruisers tips along with testing some of the sensors to make sure they are within spec.

There should be an idle speed actuator at the front of the throttle body. See if that is moving or making any noise. Sometimes it can stick if it sits for a while and cause the engine to not idle right if it is out of adjustment or is sitting to far back. The back vac line needs to go to the base of the throttle body and the front one needs to go to where the back vac line is going at the rear of the cover. Able to snap anymore pics of the bay?

It is labeled as a splash shield. It is supposed to keep debris like mud and stuff out and off the fan and radiator you take your Jeep somewhere like that and won't inhibit your cooling efficiency and make you engine bay a mess.

Well the 97-01 doors use a different style hinge than 84-96. Have you tried putting the shims back in if you already didn't use them?
