  1. Nope. The key is to ship it dead weight which most ups stores won’t let you do.
  2. Lol you hijacked your own thread.
  3. Lol thats the plan and Ive been modest about the recent bump in power and havent said much about it yet.
  4. Well the XJ/MJ T-case shift handle is used up until 96 for the XJ. And thats all that it fits. Buttttt that being said, the handles look very similar if you remove them from their assemblies.
  5. They are alright replacement shocks. Good to get you by for a few years or more if youre not big on buying the good stuff. (Lol today actually!)
  6. Ehhhhhh they are alright replacement shocks. Come with poly bushings and the installation of them is pretty simple. They pretty much do the job of every shock out there. Now what you ought to do and just a suggestion is to see if you can find a set of JK shocks and install those. Benefits is they are gas compressed and they are a bit taller than factory spec shocks.
  7. don't forget hood ornaments.
  8. Wow, beaten by the youngin.

  10. I got 71% so I say thats pretty good for only being 24. I learned I don't know my MoPars from that time and I should brush up on my Kaisers and Willys
  11. Lol more of the 50's is my era. I swear too often that I was supposed to be around in that time.
  12. I know this is premature but I got all four of the Chevys right in the first question
  13. Does the song "American Idiot" still have any relevancy?
  14. Ooooo now I am curious about how this one will turn out.
  15. No problem! I think it would be much easier to swap out a compressor than to sit there and drain it of all the oil and then fill it back up to the appropriate level. Keep an eye out from minuit with a lengthy response on the topic.
  16. Did you watch the video on this topic by nickintimefilms? He covered it pretty well for those who still have the original Renix R12 fittings in place. I would provide more but I can't and only added AC to mine. @Minuit would be the man to have the most knowledge on here about AC systems. Now I can take a stab at some of these. 1.If you have never ever replaced the compressor, it wouldnt hurt to get a R134a compliant compressor just to save a headache. That being said an expansion valve and 2.condenser should be swapped for the new stuff too as should your dryer. Replacing the compressor shouldnt affect anything else. You can keep the original R12 fittings and get those R134a adaptors to save you money of you could find straight R134a fittings for the compressor and be done with such. 3.If the lines check out visually and internally then just make sure they are well cleaned out of any moisture from both the R12/mineral oil and water. If you think you should replace the lines, go to your local auto store and have them send off the hose to be made new by their vendors as not everyone carries the old Jeep AC lines in stock. 4.Evap is fine to keep, just do the same as above with cleaning it out. I reused an old Renix evap and its been fine for the year I have had it. I made sure to blow it out and keep it dry until it was time to install. In short you might be looking at a refresh with your conversion.
  17. Hunter Green, Hunter Green, Hunter Green.
  18. That tan they offer looks a little on the nutmeg side to me.
  19. CPS every time lol. Is it a Renix one?
  20. CPS perhaps? Could be heat soaked.
  21. Makes sense. Wasnt sure if the OEM way was on the mind at first when you made that.
  22. Like on the back side of the bench was a carpet like material for the fabric.
  23. Actually I like the idea, It is pretty smart and better than relying on say 30 year old door card to hold the map pocket in place if you were to carry a FSM of Chiltons manual around. That being said, the fabric also has to be up to the challenge. Quick question, did you consider going with the original carpet like back when you made that?
