Hmmm. Could easily be the original head gasket. Seems like a lot of the MJs and XJs that come back from the dead these days have the head gaskets failing from sitting.
-
Well as far as everything, how mechanically inclined are you to do the head gasket? Much quicker and a cheaper job than swapping in a reman motor. That being said, when was the last time the head gasket did get changed?

I did. I never got a response back from them. I tried having a couple friends go to their main store to ask but none were close. -

Check the socket ground in the socket. They love to rust away into nothing cause they are a cheap metal. For some bizarre but probably money saving reason, AMC went from the good metal sockets of 84-86 to Ford sockets for 87-90. 91-96 changed back to the old style sockets. It’s best to replace both those front sockets now and never have to do worry about them not functioning again.

I got a D in Spanish and hated how it was a required class in high school. All I remember is té gusto comer los niños? And that was a joke question!
-
Lol yeah you could hide this one right now and no one would know.
-
From what I remember before not finding it again was that he hid it. I thought it was the 120 one.

Was this a problem when the original lamps were in? If I remember right, you installed LED's right? -

Is you interior paying homage to a SJ? Cause I am digging it. -
Want that for the new Dodge TRX?
-
These guys have a lot of NOS accessory stuff that I would love to grab from them. I don't know what they all are either.
-
Whoops. I knew I forgot to do something. Wasn’t expecting all those NOS parts to arrive yesterday
-
Lol gonna trump ya 88mjsally Nice size box. 80% of this was XJ body moldings. And brushed bezel guys, the part number I ordered for the fillers, are woodgrain. I have no idea on how to even acquire that filler.
-
Are you looking for the belts or the buckles? Someone found a company who rebuilds the old assemblies and the buckles are rebuildable with buckles of the same era in fords and GMs. And even the back seat of the XJ.
