Lol that was thought about too but I didnt want to rust a good pair, or my only pair at the moment.

Not much been going on. Just small mundane things and repairs like replacing the shower hot valve because the screw that holds the knob on snapped clean off a while back and I finally replaced it. No more turning it on with channel locks! Other than that it’s been trying to sell the excess appliances and cleaning up the garage while slowly but surely getting parts from my parents house. Found a few more pieces to throw up in the for sale section so keep your eyes peeled.

Oh the appliances are on the side of the house right now with the exception of the fridge. I went and got some parts from my parents house so I can go through them, put them in my hiding hole in the garage and put the empty boxes in the attic.

Lol it’s not just the washer. That’ll go to the curb once bulk trash comes through…or I can set it out and wait for one of those home rigged metal collecting trucks to come snag it….but no I have a few other appliances that were left with the house that I don’t need.

Lol. Chunk has been in the garage for a week now. Currently working on little red to get in while at the same time fighting a full recycling bin dilemma lol. And trying to get rid of appliances too.

There’s some aftermarket out there. It’s just a matter of the brand you trust at that point. Some have had good experiences and others have not. I had a Napa pump for years until I swapped fuel tanks and pump.

Of course I can! Fun to do actually. Great question! The only way I have found to determine that is the build date on both the trans and engine.

The NAA code means it applies to all 49 state EPA regulations meaning it has a cat. The code excludes Commiefornia because of their stricter system in regards of emissions.

The placement of the crankcase vent tube. instead of going to the back of the lid with a "J" pipe it instead goes directly to the side. Only on HOs. Which is annoying if you need a lid and you have Renix, especially with the 2.5L.

The lids are different, lowers are the same. 4.0L lids have two air ports on the back of the lid. Kinda like how the air bonnet on the 2.5L has the same ports. Otherwise they are the same for the most part.

I am not seeing anything in the Chrysler catalog. I might have to do some more sleuthing on the service side to see if there is or was a TSB for it at some point. I do recall nickintime doing something like this at some point though.
