  2. I recommend dropping Apple vidoes into say the onedrive and drop a link here or convert the file but CC can only host a certain size for the video.
  3. I’ve been doing some digging on those too. I think the problem with these connectors not being remade is they are rebuildable which is a smart idea but bad if one melts or breaks completely.
  4. I should say where they are at lol. There’s only two spots where that connector can be found on the XJ. Passenger side of a fully powered door XJ behind the kick panel and the front headlamp harness behind the passenger side light. I do not know where they can be found on the SJ
  5. Oh no they are and I can get new terminals for them. Just the one on chunk is broken and heavily corroded. I honestly need the male end but I’ll take both.
  6. That’s ok Pete. At least you know where they’re at. Here’s what the connector looks like. It’s a Pack-con
  7. Anyone have junkyard access to one? With AMC being gone for me I can’t go get some older stuff that’s hard to find. Needs to be a 80-86 SJ or a 84-86 XJ. Anyways, what I’m after is some of the older Pack-con connectors. More particular a 7 slot connector, but I’ll take any of them really. I know I could upgrade but I’m gonna be really particular with Chunk and how close I am gonna stay to 84 correct. If there’s nothing around anyone for those years then I’ll upgrade but for now I would like to see what’s out and around.
  8. That Chrysler Blue?
  9. Oh yeah I forgot you’re out here. Aren’t you by South Mountain?
  10. No pics but I installed the new rear hatch weatherstrip. Chunk took blood in the process. One slice from the drivers side D-pillar plastic and the other from the bottom latch catch plate retainer. Shame AMC salvage closed, might need interior metal body parts in the future.
  11. Will this PN work? 53009077
  12. Oh that’s right. You have the HO stuff. I looked at Renix. Let me look at HO but it still should be separate just like Renix.
  13. That is an absolute great question! I’m currently waiting for the weather to cool down before I can get to this. It’s been killer out. Hopefully I can get the cooling system back together and address the brakes to get this thing driving and stopping.
  14. So if it’s the sensor I’m thinking that’s in the distributor itself, there’s 6 left.
  15. I one time hadn’t logged on in years until about a year ago. Facebook asked for a copy of my photo ID or another means to prove it was me until they finally added a third option to let me back in which was dumb but wise.
  16. Tach should be plug and play with the ECU on the HO MJ's.
  17. Have you done any of the grounds? Cleaning the grounds isnt restricted to us Renix guys, even HO guys should consider making sure their grounds are clean. Behind the drivers side taillamp is the ground for the fuel pump and lamps. The ground for the instrument cluster is on the bottom side of the dash and for whatever reason the dashes bare metal gets rusty just from moisture in the air.
  18. Ive got a few more books I need to add to this list.
  19. That would make sense for the Valeo ink stamp on the back of one of the old reflectors. Neat info right there. Shame there aren’t any parts out there for these lights.
  20. Nope. Renix TBI. I’m more familiar with it and to me it is simple upgrade without changing much.
  21. Nope! Chunk has the Marchals and I’m gonna stay true to what he got. Except the engine management. Girlfriend even convinced me to keep the vinyl floor.
  22. Next is to fix the Marchals. I have a few ideas and bought a couple pieces but don’t want to give away a possible match that was probably a sub division of Marchal.
  23. Been doing alot here and there. I finally won the battle of the pool pump. Had my friend/roommate clean the impeller and had the other friend/roommate get a new sight lid O-ring and that system has been running like a champ at a solid 30psi. Also hung the SJ fender on my garage wall and I love it. Still working things out but stuff from my parents house as slowly making it over and I am slowly doing stuff. Solar panels are being installed on the roof and I am converting all the fluorescents to LEDs.
