They do exist. 91-92 MJs got them. Supposedly late 90 did as well but we haven’t been able to confirm that.

Actually no. This one I found on eBay surprisingly and it was listed for 91-95 YJs but yet still fit the MJ and XJ so I got it.

So I finally figured out where my coolant leak was coming from. Lower radiator hose was literally falling apart at the water pump and causing a leak and the need for almost a constant refill of the cooling system. So I went and found a NOS hose, with AMC logo on it and got it installed. Working pretty good with no leaks.

I....I have no Idea then. Running the last 8 gives me an invalid VIN which makes me wonder about the 86 years not having info and some of the ones that I have found to not pull any info could be export ones. I am unfortunately unable to pull a VIN and info at this time. I have my doubts this will change in the future.

I studied this hard. There should be an indicator on our starparts catalog that shows the body code the part number is for. If not I can’t imagine Chrysler changing things around for the MJ to have both necks work.

Nope. Unless you have an original sale sheet, we won’t be able to find out who sold it. Since 86 was deep ownership of AMC still, there aren’t any records of selling dealers for 84-86 Jeeps.
