  1. Agreed. It looks military-esque. If someone wants it to look perfect they probably should get a conventional camper.
  2. Also thought about bringing the entire '02 top side over to mine (head, intake and exhaust.) I'm sure I'd have to mod a few systems but it would make the swap easier.

  7. The idiot light doesn't do squat. Mine does not come on when my truck is running but does when the key is on and not running. Sounds like it's working as it should, right? But if I pull one of the cables off the battery it dies - which means the alternator is NOT working yet the light is not coming on. Anyway, good luck with it.
  8. Ha! I'm not for certain what all has happened to it but it has a clean body with no rust (other than floor pans.) I'll try to get more pics.

  10. Thanks for that detailed and articulate answer. I'm gonna reinforce that mount should I use it. Actually been searching for a front Dana44 so it's not something I've decided on yet. While measuring today I found this: It seems my front yoke has been hitting my exhaust pipe (down pipe?) which brings me to this question about the problem with the Renix exhaust manifold and or down pipe. What is wrong with it and what does it look like? Also, since my pipe is in the way of the stock yoke, is it likely that previous owner(s) already "fixed" the problem but left another less complex problem to fix - replacing/moving the pipe where it interferes with my front yoke?

  13. And how would you know the full aspect of what I want to do, Miss Cleo? Have you been looking at your crystal ball again?
  14. My reason for wanting to swap the head would be to have a better flowing intake, injectors and throttle body as well as more choices and better exhaust options. I realize I would have to adapt my renix tps to fit on the new TB and would have to change/modify the kickdown cable going to he transmission and power steering pump but after making the change replacing parts will be much easier going forward. Not to mention I currently have a fuel sending unit issue that I would like to eliminate by upgrading the tank and pump.

  16. If my '02 Grand Cherokee has the TUPY head, would it be a good choice to put on my '87 4.0?
  17. Any idea where this red wire goes? and this seems to be missing a hose, from where, I don't know. TIA
