Whops sorry about that ......... Bel Air, MD 21014, and Millersville, PA 17551 ........ I travel back anc forth for school and work.

I'm going to end up with an extra comanche bed (I founded a better one than mine) .......... I may peice together another homemade trailer, bed, tailgate, lights, bed box, trailer axle, etc. and sell it as a whole .... Anyone interested? (other wise the bed may get scrapped) I live on a farm, so space is not a problem. I just don't want to hang on to the bed as it will sit an look like trash, if its mounted on a frame, then it appears functional. Could I get $600-$800 for something like mine? It will be similar to this one, but stock steel wheels, not as aggressive looking. The bed I will be making the trailer out of looks like this ...

Here's another idea ......... Keep the bed, snag a pick up frame ......... bolt it on ......... I got this bed from a guy in the club who was going to scrap it .......

I know some old school drag racers use acetone to keep the engine temp. down for bracket racing, but they use very little and then have to change a lot of the fuel components afterwards. Just seems like an old racers trick used for the wrong reason. I wonder what his engine temp. was after use?

go to control panel ....... clock, language, region .......... then change the keyboard settings. Its probably set to a US 101 keyboard, and you may need to change it to a US 104 or some other keyboard format. Some keyboards have 2 space bars, other keys, short cut keys, etc. and the operating system needs to have the proper driver. It comes with almost every driver, you just need to select the right configuration.

Anyone watching or playing .......... I just finished up today with the last fantasy car with a perfect bid ...... though my Webbjeepxj would show up on the leader board, I must have been close since I put my bid up almost instantly when they first showed the car, but not close enough.

so 3 people have made comments on the goodyears .... here's what they look like on an XJ with Canyons ... 15x8 inch rim bows them out a little bit, they almost look like 31s at the right angle with the proper sunlight :D

What is the best way to patch this floor panel ....... Where should I cut? can I cut the top off the frame rail?

Are the lights dim? I had an alt die and had to drive it a few miles and almost killed the battery, same symptons you speak of.

I have been viewing all sorts of threads on clutch bleeding, I need to clarify some things. I went out to Autozone and bought a master, slave, and hard line. Totalling $75, figured do it all once and done. What is the correct procedure for the 86 with the external slave? Is it possible to pre bleed the system then install? I read something about depressing the slave while bleeding?

Here's mine I'm restoring it to the factory colors ....... I was going to paint it something different, but the stock is pretty cool.

advance auto parts # 905-953, the adjustable is really neat, whats the purpose ??? So you can shut off the rears, or fronts if there is a problem?

So I have bled the clutch 2-3 times, and it looses pressure. my guess is its a leaky master? Did the same thing ..... bought an accel tune up kit .... and nothing ...... Change fuel filter, lines attached to fuel filter, and O2 sensor .... I then got 19-22 mpgs :clapping:

Saw this thread and have a few more questions ...... viewtopic.php?f=2&t=26234&hilit=towing+with+xj I will be towing an MJ with my stock XJ ..... it has a 1 1/4 hitch with 3500lbs and and 300 tong ratings. I'm a gentle driver, brakes are good, and I will be using a dolly, is the comanche too much for this equipment? 40 mile hilly trip ..... not long hills, but some short steep ones.
