  1. I like dark gray
  2. Tailgate is kind of bent out, but I got these for spares, so it works for me. Someone tried to do the black outline with small black electrical tape (lol). It was a 1989 Pioneer long bed 2wd automatic with D35. I don't know if it was buckets or bench, seats were gone. Had the 4.0, bed looked in great condition except for some few dents near the cab corners.
  3. If it's starting from the back of the oil pan and getting onto the tranny, it's usually a rear main. Maybe check your drain plug gasket too.
  4. Got tail lights, and tailgate Here's the vin
  5. I got the booster installed works great! Ive been driving it a lot lately because I'm trying to sell my 98 wrangler to get an xj for DD, if anyone knows anybody, let me know please!
  6. That rim scratch should be the tire shops fix. Most places put even a piece of paper in front of the cone to prevent that from happening.
  7. They should. My rims on my Tj are just like that. They stick out of the fender flares farther.. A wider stance really.
  8. Tech 1 at Sears Auto :/ for now. Going into the filling/capping machinary for bottle companies (rebuilding the machines).
  9. I looked for the smallest cotter pin I had and cut it in half and then super glued it to the rod it works great now. I guess the cotter pin just moved too much before.
  10. I did the cotter pin but now when I push the pedal all the way it stops working.. What should I do?
  11. Thanks a lot! Switch is working well now. Haven't driven it yet since there were no brake lights lol
  12. If I did it too much wouldn't that keep it on? And i have to slide it down to make it work if that helps.
  13. Yeah I grounded the rod and drilled it out 5/8
  14. Just did this.. Only one problem.. I grinded the switch down, and when I installed it the brakes won't come on. If I move it down a little on the knob by the pedal, they will stay on but go off in 5 seconds. I don't know what to do.
  15. Would that be good for the brake system though?
  16. I DD my 98 TJ with 33's. About to pull the plug and sell it.
  17. Got this at the Junkyard this morning, only $25. From a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee, it was a pain to get out (took about an hour, had to take the fuse box out) and my line wrenches didn't fit the lines, but I should be going to harbor freight this weekend to get some tools to finish the job. Here it is:
  18. Saw a red Comanche driving down I-85 half way between Blacksburg and Spartanburg. I was in my Tj so I still gave him a jeep wave.
  19. It's been awhile, but I have been busy. I did the cheap 2" lift. I got the Chevy Drop shackles from Auto zone for $40 then got a set of 1.75" coil spacers off ebay for $35. I'm very pleased with it. I also put some used 31's on (265/75/15). I need to do an alignment soon and start driving this thing till the 2.5 goes.. Just noticed that my mud flaps are very close to the 31 inch tires.. lol Pics (From cell): With the 31's and 2" lift With 235/75/15
  20. Any before and afters?
  21. Get one of those cheap mig welders from harbor frieght, I think they are $89.99 with the coupon. I've looked on youtube for reviews of it... Seems pretty good for small stuff
  22. I'm sure you can paint the outside of your gas tank. I would use rustoleum or something.
  23. If possible, it's much easier with two people. Person sitting in the seat pushing pedal to floor and another watching the gauge.
  24. I have general grabbers on my wrangler 33x12.5r15's ride great balanced the tires yesterday, had 1-4 road force on all 5 tires. They are pricey but I got them when they first came out, and I might have known someone who works at general :)
