  1. Well maybe you should clarify your statements instead of giving partially false information.
  2. Spacers are not required for an 8.8 unless you're running wheels with a lot of backspacing. I ran 33 12.50 15s on 15x8 black steel wheels with 3.75 backspacing without spacers for years with zero clearance issues. The only thing "required" for an 8.8 is a ujoint flange, but I think having discs over drums negates the extra cost.
  3. Its coming along nicely! Would you happen to have CAD files for those bumper and hitch plates?
  4. They won't work, the Xjs have a chamferred edge along the entire bottom and the Mjs have a mostly squared edge. You can use appropriately sized angle iron on an Mj for much cheaper.
  5. Do the harness and get a set of Autopals like these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/200mm-H6054-H4-DOT-EURO-CONVERSION-HEADLIGHTS-KIT-/330591764599?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cf8ce0077&vxp=mtr I've been running these for years with a relay harness and they are great. Stay away from the "diamond" headlight kits they have a horrible pattern.
  6. That thing is wide, lol. What's the wms and backspacing?
  7. I'm setting up a high pinion 44 and the drivers UCA mount is the only thing left to do. I'm no stranger to pie cut and bent plate; I thought you pressed them into shape, haha. Edit: Could you post up dimensions? Thanks
  8. Would you be interested in possibly making and selling an axle bridge? The shipping from clayton is ridiculous, lol.
  9. Plenty of people get away without doing it, but good caster, which is usually between 5-7 degrees (upper ball joint behind lower ball joint), will improve road manners and make it easier to steer. I'm building a high pinion 44 at the moment and setting the pinion at 13 degrees and the caster at 6.
  10. Just a suggestion, but if you're going to lift the truck 8 inches you should really consider turning the inner knuckle for proper pinion and caster. Especially if you're running an LP30.
  11. So when does mass production of those corner guards begin? Hahaha, It looks great.
  12. At this point I am open to all possibilities.
  13. I don't feel like retyping everything so i'll link it. http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1031947
  14. Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate that somebody was making stuff for us. I used to get a little excited when I see parts listed that fit a comanche, hahaha.
  15. That sucks... I was seriously waiting for these. They said its because nobody bought the bumpers or sliders. I never really liked the rear bumper they made and i couldnt afford the sliders. Oh well.
  16. I have two sets of springs in my parts pile one set needs new main leaves and the other is really only good for mains (the ends are bad). So I was thinking instead of just swapping out the mains, I would build some Bastard packs. Cutting off the ends of the bad mains and puting the good ones over them. Has anyone ever done this I am already SOA with 2wd packs and a little higher in the front, So i am only looking for 1-2 inches if i get any lift. Would they be too stiff? Sorry if that was hard to read I am at work and am half asleep, LOL.
  17. My Mj did the same thing, check where the rotor is at TDC on the number on piston. Mine was off and i had to shave the locating tab and rotate the distributor.
  18. 20 bucks, I just got a universal cut to fit mat for 60.
  19. Look in the back.
  20. I have been running autopals and an upgraded harness for about 2yrs now, and the difference is well worth it.
  21. My Mj had a similar problem, I had to index the distributor and it is completely gone now. Chrysler even put out a TSB for it in 88. Here are some links that should help http://www.asashop.org/autoinc/feb99/techtotech.htm http://blog.hemmings.com/index.php/2...e-distributor/ http://ezinearticles.com/?How-to-Ind...tor&id=1357018 http://www.angelfire.com/my/fan/dist_index.html
  22. I probably will go for it, but if i do end up having a decent amount of bumpsteer , what is a good pitman arm that will raise it about an inch? I can't remember if a ZJ arm is an inch higher or lower.
