A must see .... TRIP PICS FINALLY UP! Pg 6 *****************
ejndssn replied to Automan2164's topic in The Pub
it is one of those sad moments that an opportunity like this to meet a gentleman like this has slipped us by. Who had a passion that rival our own. we need not missed an opportunity to share our :jump: and :headpop: with fellow jeepers like this one. this is what makes this site a great one. I too wish that I could have turn back the hands of time just to have a and share stories or just listen to his. What a lost :fs1: . -
well come to the brother hood :brows:
-
 in Nov 2010 lets write a vote for CWLONGSHOT dude you got my vote
-
:agree: that is very funny

FWIW i would also obtain the 4wd shift lever attachment. I have found that this little detail over looked makes one a bit :headpop: you could be lucky and find one in the JY around the same as the tranny you have now and just make it a plug and play :brows: i found out after the install that the original didn’t match up :wall: and figured that hey they are the same  had it disassemble and figured didnt need it :fs1: should have taken that too. good luck
-
wow that was outstanding  i could not believe this :clapping: i had to read it twice it was so good.
-
nice this just goes to show what money can do.. makes one wonder what would a jeep in that class would look like

well i tried to beat this past storm before it got to us early friday when the rain kept me at bay in mobile :fs1: so they got me to leave in the am and got stuck in charlotte nc for 12 hours got home 0130 sunday and the airport in norfolk was a ghost town. and i was still able to get a taxi cab ride home  just need to have the weather system move south for round two :brows:
-
I too have and willing to donate. Just a  when asking for additional items magnets and stickys etc, how about rounding up based on the cost of S&H or even when doing group buys on stuff :brows: we should consider a rounding up in addition to other methods of contributions. just another way of saying thanks.
-
 that was great and truly enjoyed :brows: if the money was right i would also enjoy building one of them
-
we made it to hollywood after 6 years in the assembly line and based on the year model this truck could be 18-24 years old and made to the spot light guess how much that truck is worth Sam Rockwell was the guy on hitchicker's guide to the universe

ejndssn replied to 1990 Pioneer 4x4's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs

again i have to say that speed channel would have a a field day with this great job
-
that's great also lets you know that music can be made from any anything :brows: and it sounds better comming from a jeep

FWIW I would recommend that you inspect the battery cables carefully. id suspect that after 20 yrs you are running thin on the insulation on them. There are some stories with pics about the cables and would suggest that you look at them. if they need replacement and i would suspect that they do if they are the original ones. I would obtain at a minimum 2 gauge cable set. it is also known that there is a web site that can provide a 1 gauge cable setup. again a bit of research here will find you some good helpful ideas. as for the alternator i would check that as well but first the cables i would hate to fry something that i should have looked over when needed too. Hope this helps

CW that was outstanding   :rotf: had me in tears and woke up the dogs too.
-
Well i must have been lucky  the one that i have got from the jy serveral months ago does not have that quick drain plug and maybe the guy was sleeping on the job and missed and :dunno: it was never went through the jiffy drain place :clapping: just have to replace the perches since this one came off of a 87 cherokee

Name that Tune in "x" Notes? (Audio of Engine!)
ejndssn replied to SuperWade2's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
:agree: xmany with the rest of the team here lifter my question is :hmm: would the marvel mystery oil clear that blockage up just an  -
i was one of the few last to get an 4.6l AP kit when they where still doing strokers :dunno: what had happen to AP or what cause them to stop selling them. you can see bunches of stories from the build on a low budget to the 4.9l high dollar build just what is in your budget i still think that the stroker is the way to go here and now mopar will be selling them  its about time. now with the right gearing you would have a nice machine. as for the price some will pay for it just for the fact that it will be a plug and play :brows:
-
 once you get'r done you may want to send your story to offroad or even one of the speed week fix'r up shows  and you and some of the others here that are doiing an outstanding job on the restoration can make a name for the Comanche and give it a several nicks name. Comanche Bonneville Comanche Classic (original body style) Comanche Classic II ??? (97+ face lift) Comanche Nexgen (2500 face lift) no to :hijack: but you guys are doing an super job on your trucks  this sounds like the making of a BUD lite commercial.

welcome to the club  that is true about the ba10/5 (even had one longer than expected) anyway there are two types of AX-15 internal and external. both are great trannys. it is the internal slave cylinder that was an issue for me so i went with the external :brows: if you have to get one that is an internal go to the dealer and get the internal slave from them :brows: the aftermarket ones are suspect. there is one that is pretty good and one of the team members here may direct you or provide a link. the other option is to get the NV3550  .

:agree: with the team on that one x2
