Actually, the Marine Corps. has enlisted navigators in the EA-6B Prowlers Erik :beerhead: as for the fly boys they never appreciate when they have been taken out and the dirty water boys would come to rescue them :brows: my dream job would be working game department and being outdoors i was thinking some thing of the same with rental the stalls and tools like they do on based that would be awesome. :cheers:
  9. i do beleive that the D50 was in the same realm as the chevy LUV & ford courier and a by product of mitsubishi i could be wrong but that is what i remeber. You would have to check the measurements. I would recommend a ford or mopar product for axles
  10. i have a DD89 and took it to its paces sonic if you want to sell it by all means do so and don't look back (thanks CW) for the folks here they have sweated & and bled working on these machines and have not given up :brows: knowing that they are the a very rare breed like the owners that have them and I would own another :brows: at the current moment i have three xj's and one MJ (89 xj bought 92, 96 xj bought 06, 88 free :cheers: 08 and for the 89 MJ I am the original owner and have not looked back :yes: ) so if your looking for help this is the site to find it and if your looking to sell i would suggest that you place your add in the classified section and call it a day. :cheers:

Pete i would think that a link to your pix may help him out some This also applies to here as well knowing that it was not the intent at least we could see what was done and those that are interested can copy and ask questions as they go along adding additional mod like what increase the vehicle weight as well for what a lil bit of reinforcing the frame for what amount of gain :dunno: :agree: Eagle, Pete and CW that these trucks are tough the way they have been built as long as mother nature does not take her toll on these wonderful machines and we do our part to keep them the way we like 'em. we all have questions and answers which helps us along with maintaining our beloved machines and that what make the efforts that you guys have put into this site make it what it is today thanks a bunch

  22. :dunno: this is what the owner is telling me and i need to get a chance to look at it and hopin its a simple fix like the CPS and if i had to clean ths NSS hope to find one at the JY that's a direct replacement :idea: and see if that does the trick and call it good :cheers:

  24. I'm am about to receive an 88 XJ with 20k on the jasper engine. the own believes that SNS has gone south and I proceeded to ask what made him think so :hmm: . If you get it out of the garage its yours. My first trouble shooting is to see if it turns over and i'm already suspecting that its the CPS and i can pull one here shortly. what else should i look for besides the hum from the fuel pump. I hoping that this will an easy fix. team comanche club what's your thoughts :cheers:
  25. may want to check the hose on either end of the fuel filter & fuel pump to i have read somewhere recently on this site that a rotten hose line was the problem and had some pic as well just a thought :hmm: found it its in the renix woes post second page it is worth a shot
