nothing at d1-2 with key on or off? did it have the jumper? if still nothing with key on or jumper check for power at the ignition control module, c2 yellow wire

easiest way would be while its unplugged see if the hi beams work

i don't have a column in front of me but that looks like the high beam switch

People usually do, if they would perform the inspection of it instead of assuming it's bad it be a lot better. If they perform the inspection then all there out is hours worth of time and a 50cent gasket. Stock 1988 swb 4.0 ax15 np 231.
