  1. I would have thought getting your flywheel milled would be the same as getting your brake rotors done, hardly worth it. I know here, the labor cost just means it's more cost effective to buy new. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  2. I wheel my pretty modified MJ regularly but DD a stock JKU. So tell me how you judge me in my stock JKU?I don't judge you, I just don't wave to you, because you blend in with everyone else. You might as well want to wave because you wheel an MJ but drive a Civic. Might be different where you live, but here there is almost as many JK's on the road as Honda Civics. 3. Nah man, you can tell they are are just cruisin for bi tches. [emoji3] Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  4. Anytime I was looking for a Comanche to buy, I would also search "Commanche", there is always someone who spells it wrong. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  5. Having purchased a new rotary Mazda I can agree about the power and the smoothness of the engine. But it would be foolish to buy an old RX7 for a daily driver. The RX7 was a limited production SPECIALTY car. As such you will find parts are available at fat premium prices and trained, knowlegeable service information is very hard to come by in most parts of the country. A Mazda Miata is a much better choice for a whole host of reasons. It is not even a close call. With the RX7, be prepared to live with 15-17 mpg when the engine has new Apex seals at it's best. Haha I DREAMT of 15mpg. Single digits, all the way. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  6. I used to have a Series 1 Mazda RX7, 13b rotary and 5 speed. Super fun, and HUGE amounts of power potential. If you port it, though, it WILL have the worst mileage of anything you have heard of. Totally worth it though. I would have another one now, but Rotor Motors don't really like extreme cold. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  7. Every man and his dog drives a JK around here, most of them stock, the built ones are generally mall crawlers with lots of money and a catalog thrown at them. I usually only wave at XJ / TJ and older. You can tell who is an offroad enthusiast and who isn't. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  8. Here are my white LEDS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Nice! That's more my speed. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  9. Nice! I'm going to check them out, if they do white LED's I'd get a kit for sure. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  10. Haha "something like that", only better looking I hope! [emoji3] Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  11. If you are changing your front diff maybe you should re-gear? I changed both of mine, put a Chrysler 8.25 in the back, HP D30 in the front, both out of an auto 99 cherokee, so it has 3.55 gears. Not the greatest ratio, but running 3.07's with 31's was a bit of a pig, running 33's must be painful for your rig. 3.55's can be found anywhere cheap, but if you keep a lookout, you might find some 4.10's which would be pretty ideal. 12. I seem to remember the 10" drums were an option for the police package, for those places that used Cherokee's as police vehicles. Didn't know they did the same for the Comanche. Maybe it's the same, or maybe a part of a towing package? Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  13. I would pull the front axle, replace the whole thing with a 97+Cherokee axle with the same ratio. It's only 2 or 3 hours work, then you have the bigger u-joints, 1 piece shaft, and you don't have to mess around with the CAD. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  14. I got 9/16" u bolts for a chrysler 8.25 to fit in the stock MJ plates when i did my diff swap. Needed a little squeeze with a clamp, but went in pretty easily. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks for the info, they are both running parallel, it's just the tie rod end on the drag link has a little more angle than I would like. If I drop one, I will definitely drop them both. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  16. welded a section of schedule 40 Gas Pipe into my Track Bar. This is how she sits. Haven't driven it yet, so not sure how it steers, probably will put a pitman arm out of a ZJ in it to change the drag link angle, then get an alignment. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  17. I looked at that, I don't think there is enough benifit in doing that personally. You can only move it over 3/4" and I'm extending my bar already anyway. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  18. I've heard the 97-01 mirrors don't improve vision, it's just good to be able to fold them. I have a set, I'm going to throw them on tomorrow! This is what I did to my floor, maybe it will give you an idea. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  19. My bad. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  20. Maybe it was a GC track bar thread I was looking at.... Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  21. I might be wrong, but I thought the one in the thermostat housing was for the electric fan? I think the ECU sensor is on the block, on the drivers side. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  22. I have a funny idle on mine, I have a temp sensor, haven't put it in yet. Now I will though.... Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  23. I've seen build threads of guys making their stock bars adjustable, they chop them and tap the tube, and add threaded rod and jam nuts. So I guess some XJ'S / MJ'S might have come with hollow track bars? Mine is solid anyhow. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
  24. That's how much the track bar was short after I chopped it. Sent from my SM-N900W8 using Tapatalk
