  1. Thats cool! My son is six as well , he doesn't even know its his yet .
  2. 92" SWB, AX 15 ,4.0 HO , 4x4, Dana 30\35, 355, gray , base model , stock slider . One and probably only !
  3. :agree: If you don't want to trim anything , the 15x7 " wheel with stock backspacing is best .
  4. Nice find , already hooked up and all . I did the black top thing too . IMHO they look more aggressive that way .
  5. Your memory serves you correct . Not the gift shop though , balancing rock ! Rymanrph , yes the tires rubbed slightly at the inner fender well and barely at fenders edge . No LCA rub though . DD here in Colorado springs is a little different than the flatlands . They don't take care of the roads here , so pot holes appear daily . Big ones . The hot to cold extreme that roads suffer makes for a rough ride . Just to get around in town , my wheels take a hammering . My parking lot at work might as well be a registered trail . I am constantly off and on road . With a RE 2" lift and a little trimming I don't get any rub with the wheel locked , right to left . I still get a little with allot of weight to the front or just heading up a very steep incline . Witch is part of DD around here .
  6. I know you don't want to cut anything but , IMHO this looks clean . The only reason I cut the front is because the metal at the front of the quarter panel is so thin that one good hit and its gone anyway . This is all the cutting I'll do . Functional and attractive . Image Not Found I haven't finished the ends yet and its getting a internal hitch . Image Not Found
  7. If your trying to keep it a street truck , then I like the Ions . I think they would look sweet with a nice rake to the truck .
  8. Very nice clean job on your truck .
  9. Very nice ! Well deserved .. :clapping:
  10. :agree: With socal1200 , Local shops can get you a good product and get you want you want . They will USUALLY do a better job , at doing a more complete installation . If something isn't right , they have to fix it . Saving you a little time and headache of taring the old one out and getting the new one to fit . Sucks to have an exhaust leak when you get it all back in there .
  11. Thanks Chris ! The only thing I don't like about those , is how their welded to that flat plate . I would like to see a little more metal at that joint . Seems to me that they could bend or break at the joint . The plate is fine but it just looks like it could bend . I don't know ? :dunno: I'd like to see some opinions . Maybe a gusset would help ? Or are they made pretty beefy .
  12. ^ Has a cool pic of a clean tailgate shot .
  13. It doesn't take much at all . You won't even know you cut it . I am using 15x10" 31x10.5" with the 4" backspacing . Now with zero rub . Stock LCA"s and only cutting mostly plastic . The front fender cutting looks better to me anyway . Also allows me to do more aggressive off road driving . I think they should have come that way from the factory , like other Jeeps . Just my opinion . 2" offset wheels won't have any inner rub , just outer flair rub .
  14. Yep" , and we still got them stuck everywhere . Yes the first HV's as well . Didn't matter what tire we put on them . It more depends on what the tire was made for, vs. how wide skinny they are . Every tire has its advantage in different areas . Traction has allot more to do with weight than just skinny tires . Haven't had any problems with my wide tires , they track allot better than the skinny $#!&s that were on there . In allot of different conditions . I just won't take them into mud . Their not made for that . I don't do much mud driving out here in Colorado , mostly jagged rocks , loose gravel and all sorts of snow - ice conditions . From heavy snow pack to sheer black ice . I don't care what anyone says, nothing works on sheer black ice . Thats how all the big trucks end up upside down , every year there is a terrible snow storm . Its more about the knowledge of how to drive in the ice . Proper weight placement is key .
  15. Play around with a couple of pics on photobucket . It takes some getting used to , but you'll figure it out . Just Don't use an original pic make a duplicate , so if you screw it up , just throw it away and start over .
  16. Thats cool , but you got to put a new pic in your sig . I don't even know who you are anymore man ! :D
  17. Also Jimoshel got a pair of newer soft 8's with 2" backspacing 15x8 . Lift and trimming needed , if you want them . 150.00 $ comes with used tires 31"x10.5 and a spare roller .
  18. ^ Thinks he's not one of the most popular guys on this site ! Finished with your projects yet ??
  19. :agree: I went with the 10" width and a 4" backspacing on a 10.5 " tire . At that width and offset you need at least 2" of lift .
  20. ^Is one of the most popular dudes on the site and has a lot of work to do !
  21. ^ Better like Hockey or he's getting a banana experience ! Ha, we took the Nordic's !
  22. Hey if its good enough for Rocky B. , than hand me a set of pink Ray-Bans , a Firebird jacket and a pair of British Knights , cause I'm gonna be blowin' some doors off . OH , and I like the black and white checkerboard British knights too .
  23. ^ Likes pictures , like I do !
  24. Yes you should be able to use a 31x10.5 . Maybe a little inner fender rub . or LCA rub but easily fixed .
