  1. It does have hydraulic lifters. Did you run it long? did they quiet down if you did? What's the oil like? New filter? Have you shined a light into the oil filler hole to assess the sludge buildup?
  2. A bleed is a b*@ch. With the clutch working as it does, the pumping shoulda made a difference if it were an air issue. So, when clutch was first replaced, you didn't have this issue? It just cropped up afterwards?
  3. Yes!! Also, did this start with the clutch replacement?
  4. Go have some fun and quit worrying.
  5. Likely not related to the swap at all. Look here:
  6. I wish Comanche Club had a LIKE button.
  7. whenever you're ready.
  8. Pump the pedal. BTW, Eagle is absolutely spot on regarding the BA-10s behavior.
  9. You won't make the C101 worse. Or anything else by refreshing it. Tips 1 through 5 can be done in under an hour easily.
  10. Now we're getting somewhere. Do this: Pump the clutch pedal about 40 times and then walk away from it. See if it shifts better after that.
  11. Dude!!! Start the son of a b*@ch and shift into reverse!!! Report back. 2 minute job. Beating this dead horse about fluids doesn't get to the root issue. You're making it very difficult for a bunch of really good guys to help you.
  12. IIRC, the BA-10 had conical aluminum synchros and that was part of the problem. Just a poor design. Not a problem with reacting to fluid. My buddies at JeepTech recommended an additive to help with the shifting, but that was over 30 years ago. I'll try to hunt it down.
  13. Hey Kirby!! Have you thought about reverse also? Just sayin....I thought it was just me.
  14. That^^ was considered "normal" back in the day per the factory.
  15. drive it a while.
  16. I'll ask this again: Dead stop. Shift into reverse. What happens?
  17. From the factory the wires were the same color on both sides of the connector. Violet with tracer and white with tracer. Not red and white.
  18. I would contact this guy. trevor.skankfootracing@gmail.com
  19. Ya know, knowing the info in the attached chart might help us to find an alternative sender:
  20. Did you eliminate the distro block in the engine bay? What about the valve in the rear?
  21. Dead stop. Shift into reverse. What happens?
  22. Put the new radiator in.
