  1. Yep, that's the one
  2. I know anytime I've put up ads on CL, whatever I was selling was as clean and prepped as I could get it prior to running the ad. I see the lack of prep a lot in my searches, unfortunately
  3. Man, really like this Comanche. Would be just what I'm looking for, mods, lift. Just nice and clean. Yours?
  4. He posted a single pic on the Albuquerque CL. I asked if he had anymore pics he could send and he sends me a few. I thanked him, and since he didn't include an engine bay shot or a clear interior shot, asked if the truck had AC. Him: I don't think any comanches came with a/c Me: Actually quite a few did. I've been looking for the "right one" for a while now. Only a hand full I've looked at don't have it, or do have it but it doesn't work, LOL Him: Well I have tons of friends with them n kno alot of guys with them from jeep meets n non did... Thanx for your time. I guess that means, he's done talking with me, LOL By how easily he seemed to get defensive when I responded with my AC comment, I'm going to go out on a limb here and say he is probably pretty young. I don't know, was there "tone" in my response? Oh, and why do some sellers leave all sorts of crap in the interior when they take their pics? Do people really want to sell?
  5. What a thoughtful and well executed gift
  6. Yup me too Just not a fan of 4 door pickups, if they do not then I will continue my plans to make my own... Same here, just looks"forced"
  7. I think this is a great idea if it keeps the heat down. If you do have some minor leaks like Jackrabbit41, this is and the herculiner, are good alternatives. My only worries would be the noise & heat. It gets pretty steamy put here in the Midwest this time of year.
  8. At least I'll be cool while receiving the nagging as long as she doesn't lapse into Tagalog. :rotfl2: Booking marking this for future use should the Comanche I finally get is still running the older stuff - thanks Sounds like your wife must be Filipina? I'm about 1/4 Filipino myself
  9. Sounds right. From the posts, the front sits nice and flush. Look forward to seeing new pics
  10. What size spacers did you go with?
  11. There are quite a few image hosting sites. I use Photobucket. Just create an account, upload your pics there, post the links to them here
  12. It's pretty cool the storage people let you work on your truck while being stored. I know some don't allow that, especially around here. She's going to love the "fresh air"
  13. I think that is pretty good progress. Everything seems to line up quite well.
  14. Real nice work, man.
  15. Got my magnet & cards yesterday. Thanks, Pete!
  16. Really, seriously good work there man. Subscribing for updates.
  17. That does look perfect to me. Subscribing as a reference for when I'm able to finally track down mine
  18. I measured the space I have available in my garage again and since the LB is 16' long, its not going to fit. Looks like my search continues for a short bed.
  19. The closer I look I can see the mismatch. Interesting to see what it looks like in person. How much trouble would it be to swap it back out to a '91 XJ front?
  20. I contacted him for more pics. He's out of town now but said he would when he gets back tonight. I asked for engine bay & interior shots. If I do drive out to see it, I'll have a list of questions. Mostly tips from members here

Malone's website says the bars are 1.25" 0.9" thick square tubing. I wonder if you could buy square tubing somewhere, paint it and be good to go?
  22. No, I would say not an illusion, He must have meant, besides the wheels, its rust free, LOL
