I've always felt they shouldn't race on a limited, fenced in track. Race out in the open prairie. That way if you go off the track you don't wipe anything out, except for maybe a couple cactus or yucca plants.
Is there a hole in the floor board he can reach thru? Or does he have to stop and get out and reach under neath? Personally I would have mounted it on the dash. Easier to get to.

Nice, let's start a "How many places on an MJ can you open a beer" thread.
Any rules? For example, can it be one hand only, or two?
The reason your horn was on is because that metal tip on the end of the wire was touching metal ground. If you notice that recessed hole directly below the is where it should go.
Maybe Hornbrod or one of the other members could post a illustrated parts diagram showing how it should be.
Hi..I was looking at possibly a Jeep Liberty..but have read some negative reviews on them...plus it seems they don't get much better fuel mileage than the bigger jeeps? anyone able to give me ..a I own one and this is what I think opinion.
Boy am I surprised. Insurance totaled the wife's Chevy damaged in the recent hail storm. I knew it was bad but didn't think it was that bad. So she's looking for another one. Got her talked into getting a Jeep with the payoff. Used. Not new. Trouble is I know nothing about the newer models. Sooo since there are so many knowledgeable peeps here I suggested she check in and get some opinions from some of you here more knowledgeable than me. Just a heads up so when she checks in you'll know what's going on.
First thought came to mind. Tilt wheel. And possibly a smaller diameter. Once had a '33 Plymouth 1/2 ton pick up. Didn't like the way the steering wheel was. Cut four inches off the end off the column and remounted the wheel. Worked GREAT....Until I got my fingers jambed between the wheel and dash while speeding around a corner one day. Cost me $90 to replace the door on a '49 Ford I hit and $15 for careless driving citation.
