ok guys I finally got a chance to do some steering wheel shoping today but I have a problem... the gf has my truck at work, she works nights I work days next day ill see her and the truck will be monday. anyone know the diameter and dish of the stock mj wheel? I want to get my order placed asap. any help would be great thanks guys

I think I may try looking into the smaller wheel because I only need a little room thanks guys

no tilt wheel I wish it was that easy. Is there a way to swap the tilt column from an 01 xj into the truck?

Hey guys I have a question for you. This past weekend as I was helping my sister move we loaded down my 88 Comanche with everything we could fit. Honestly more than we should have fit, two tarps half a dozen straps and it was still a little iffy, anyways I have had this truck for some time now and dd it is fine but I found as I would lean out my window to check on this iffy load my fat gut would hit the wheel... this got me thinking because I plan to offroad this truck I don't want to run into mobility issues at the worst time on a trail. Anyone have this problem? is there a way to adjust the seat back a bit more? seems like there should be away being that there is about thee inches of space wasted behind the seat... just looking for some ideas and droping twenty pounds has already been suggested lol thanks sincerly the fat jeeper

I bought my first Jeep this weekend. It is an 88 MJ. 4.0 auto AW4, NP231, Dana 30/35 3.55, long bed. She is not the best looking thing but she runs strong and for the price of $700 it was hard to pass up. Have been looking for a Jeep because I Just finished lifting my friends ZJ six inches and he is running 33's now and will be going places I do not want to put my old Ranger. I will be putting it on 33's shortly and will be doing the needed lift though I have not figured out what one I am going with yet. The Plan-ish 1) I am thinking about finding a ZJ donor truck and swapping the d35 and coil set up. Just so I can cut the bed down more ( bed is rusty and 8ft so its a little long for the trail any tips info or ideas on this are greatly appreciated) 2) Looking at probably a 6.5 lift 3) Fixing the rest of the body/damage ( floor pans rusty 97+ front end new doors and fenders and pass cab corner) maybe some paint although the camouflage is growing on me. 4) misc. custom rear bumper, recovery points, ect. if I can figure out how to post pictures I will add some soon.
