  1. I'm not sure, but in the AM I might pull the taillight and clean (again) to see if that changes anything.
  2. Update on the truck. 1) fuel pump still doesn't prime/kick on when it's below about 65F for the first start. More on that later. 2) Battery load tested good. Starter was burned up (intermittent internal connection.... likely from cranking on it trying to start). Replaced and turns over fine now. The fuel pump thing really has my scratching my head. If it's below about 65F and the truck has sat all night, the fuel pump won't prime and truck won't start. If I turn the key on and let it sit on for 30 seconds or crank it *then turn it off and walk away for 15-20 minutes* it will start if I try again. Once it's started, I don't have any issues throughout the day, even if it sits for 6+ hours. I've replicated this 3x this week and it's got me stumped. I've bypassed the fuel pump resistor, swapped the relay for a known good one, battery terminals and cables are in great shape (Mean Lemons 0GA installed 3 years ago). The only thing for sure is cold weather means no fuel pump in the morning.
  3. I just pulled the ZEVOs out of my truck for the oracle tails. Really liked them for an option over the standard incandescent bulbs. I've got 2 brake/tail bulbs and 2 reverse bulbs if anyone wants them.
  4. Yeah. I did the poor man's load test as described above but maybe it's not enough 🤷‍♂️ Guess next weekend I'll be pulling my wiring schematics out and tracing each circuit, refreshing connections as I go.
  5. Swapped the relay for a known good one already, didn't kick the fuel pump on. Definitely a fuel issue. Truck doesn't always crank. Usually does but not always. See #1.
  6. Morning, night, late afternoon..... if it's below 65 a start is iffy.
  7. Have not load tested. Last night it was turning over but no fuel so I flipped the key a few times and it went to no crank, and still no fuel pump. This morning is the 48F and nothing happens when I turn the key. I'm def leaning towards bad connection but at this point I'm not sure where to look.
  8. Haven't tried lately but last December it didn't make a difference.
  9. Solved! Only took 2 years, lol. OK, I'm scratching my head on this one. Jeep starts fine when it's warm. Anytime its cold (below 60-65F..... yes I'm aware this isn't cold to some of you but I live in New Orleans ) I get one or both of two issues: 1) no crank, no start. Don't get a click. Starter doesn't move. Battery voltage drops ever so slightly (12.4 to 12.2) 2) no fuel pump. Key on, can usually hear my pump prime. When it's cold out, key to on and I get nothing. Truck will crank and crank but not start (duh, not getting fuel). If #1 happens, I've been able to push start it to get it to go. If #2 happens, sometimes I'll be able to start it by flicking the ignition on and off a few times to get enough pressure to start. If they both happen, I get my car keys and leave the truck at the house 🤷‍♂️ Battery is older (2017) but seems to be charged. This doesn't always happen when it's cold but it happens enough to where I don't trust the truck this time of year. As soon as the weather warms up, all of these issues go away. I haven't refreshed my grounds in 4 or 5 years, but I have cleaned the battery terminals fairly often trying to troubleshoot this one. Been ongoing for about 3 years now, but definitely worse this year.

    Jeep "e"

Yeah, it was wrecked previously. Now that I think about it, the front bumper says "90 Comanche" inside it in typical junkyard paint pen. I'll take it, PM incoming.

    Jeep "e"

I'm gonna need the smooth ones, mine is a '92. Glad you mentioned that, didn't know there was a difference.

    Jeep "e"

Looking for an "e" that goes on the front of the jeep above the Grille. Mine is missing a stud on the rear and was glued on. Picture showing what I need and the broken bit.
  13. Edit: 1st two pictures are smoked Oracle on the right, and OEM with Zevo LED bulbs on the left. Bottom pic is with both smoked lens installed.
  14. Painted! Now for reassembly!
  15. Curious how this turned out. With a "new" corner, that's not a bad repair to make at all. If you were local I'd say bring it over and we could install it on a Saturday afternoon.
  16. You wouldn't happen to have any white or be interested in selling a set in white would ya? Also, picked up my new dirt bound manta front bumper from Powdercoat today.... and dropped the jeep off at the body man to get painted.

    Powder coating

Ended up $200 cash for coating with me supplying the powder. I bought some clearance white from Columbia for $3/lb (took 3lbs.... just barely enough). So factor in cost for shipping ($15), I made out for about $225 to get it coated, plus I've got extra powder for the rear bumper!
  18. I've got the kit. Looking to install in the next week or 2. Where in south Louisiana? I'm in NOLA.

    Powder coating

Black was about the same price ($275). I'm gonna call Columbia Coatings and see what a pound of their white runs..... I've got the stuff to do it just didn't want to.

    Powder coating

Looking to get a front bumper (DBO's Manta DIY bumper) powdercoated.....jeez was I floored at the cost. $300 to get it done in white. Last time a had anything coated was 2019-2020-ish and was about $150 for a similar piece. Have prices gone up that much in 4 years?
  21. Nope, drop brackets came with the truck from the P.O. Geometry is correct, bottom arm sits nearly parallel with the ground. Just not as smooth over rough terrain as the long arm setup.
  22. Black RTV will work. You can also use it and a Walmart bag/plastic sheeting to seal any air leaks in vent windows.
  23. I've got the Core adjustables up front and drop brackets on a 4-4.5" lift. Rides good, even on these rough New Orleans roads. Not quite as smooth as much buddy's long arm setup but close.
  24. Oof. That's some serious Bristol Bay vibes for sure. We drain the oil after fishing season. Why? B/c it'll freeze in the block and crack it if you don't.
