  1. Wow, very inexpensive! Are the cages DOM or HREW?
  2. Ahh, good pictures. Kudos to those.
  3. Looking to be driving it on the Monday after next, but a couple things'll need to be done still.
  4. My brother and I took them out of our Chevys. All I remember going to it on the SBC was a line for the gas tank to breath into, but I know there was more than one line. Kind of a safety thing, cause if the fumes aren't going into the canister, they are going out by the gas tank or going into the engine bay. Didn't stop us rednecks.
  5. Okay... It's almost done. Engine and tranny are in. Here's my list of crap to still do, in a random order: fill water fill oil fill tranny fill t-case fill front diff fill power steering install 1 water fitting ground motor mount battery make intake tube install down-pipe/cat cut smashed tailpipe mount new LCAs modify trackbar mount modify sway bar end links box shackles glue up headliner install wood headliner stop PRNDL tooth from breaking off everytime I put the wheel down get windshield replaced install rear window latch fab front bumper registration install u-joints in driveshafts starter inspection plate stereo install (at shop) alignment mount hood connect shift linkage install t-case paint rockrails and rear bumper fix passenger armrest spare mount And then this buddy's done!

  7. The look like the ones ppl talked about on here before. You buy at farm/tractor supply places, and cut them to length. Maybe?
  8. Don't mean to threadjack, but maybe just a temp jack. Are those the Alcans on there? And are you linking it, since you're getting rid of em? Also didn't realize you had a fuel cell. I like.
  9. Is it 1.5" all thread or what? Kudos!
  10. Yeah, linky went down. Did anyone happen to save the space pic and desktop pic?
  11. Well, I used the oh-so accurate method of holding an MJ light up to the screen to check fit :D . The picture on the screen is exactly as wide as my light, and the heighth is slightly shorter. Hopefully the picture shows them too small. If it's accurate, then you'll need to fill in space on the top and/or bottom of the light mounting place. Lol, I feel retarded cause of how innacurate that method is. Oh well, tryin to help.
  12. Shorter springs, in general, don't flex as well as longer springs, so if you're building it to wheel, that probably isn't the best route. As well, moving the axle too far forward won't allow you as much up travel, because your axle will hit the arch in your frame instead of having all that room it did where the axle was. Your best two options, IMO, are tube the rear, or find a SWB.
  13. That's exactly what I needed! Thank you! Now I've got to figure out why why thermostat housing is 3/4" and not 5/8".
  14. Just a 2.5L engine bay pic'd help. Can't seem to have any luck finding any pics.
  15. The 2.5L and the 4.0L.
  16. In 7 days. That was hilarious.
  17. When I first heard about the Commander I thought the person got the name wrong and it'd be a new Comanche... No such luck.
  18. I'm turning into a prerunner nut, but:
  19. Reminds me of this buddy:
  20. Here's some Liberty pictures for reference.
  21. Forgot, there's also a 5/8" line off the water pump.
  22. And at the front of the fender, the top and mid body line don't line up. You have to use bondo to match up the lines.
  23. This is on my '86 with A/C. I've got my fancy pants new heater control valve, and that's about the only thing I know where to put. There's a 5/8" input and output on the heater control valve, a 5/8" water connection on the front of the intake manifold, a 5/8" water connection on the back of the intake manifold, and on the water outlet there's a 3/4" connection. What runs where?

    great news

I just payed $1200 for my 2.5L (new though)... it better not suck.
  25. The little filters are super generic. My Toyota: And you can put it on the top of the valve cover on the 4.0L which you can imagine where it would be in this pic: Or, what a buddy of mine did was put it on the end of that tube, which you can barely see here:
