Exactly what I was looking for, thank you! I know I'd have to get new rims and a JK trackbar and Ive seen many people swap out the 44 for a 60 but I feel like it's the same debate most of us with XJs and MJs have with d30s and 35s, I know eventually I'll want to go bigger so I'm just going to skip that step and go right to 37s and I'm not a hardcore wheeler, I like to pick my lines out carefully and go slow so I feel like with my driving style and 37s I think a JK D44 would hold up just fine. I'm just starting my research but thanks again! -Nick

If you guys had a line on a set of JK 44s front and rear, that came with 4.10s and lockers would you stick em under your MJ? Of course you would have to redo all the axle brackets and maybe re-gear them but since they are a little wider and many people run 37s on them which I want to do. Would it be worth the work or should I not even bother Thinking about them and just build a HP44 and a D60? :dunno: -Nick

I'm afraid I might bump my head too, I'll get it in there and findout, I was suppose to get a crunched up front fender and cut out that rust and weld it in but I need to locate another fender. Also I have a 2 wheel problem :help: I grew up racing BMX then onto Motocross, so I have quite a few of everything you can imagine haha

Jim has or had every possible vehicle known to mankind. I believe it! Also the Auto-X and drift scene around here is growing very fast! I planned on autocrossing my camaro this spring

My Badass Metric-Ton Comanche Build! (The End)
Dirteatr717 replied to MancheKid86's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
If I were you I wouldnt weld on your rear shock mounts like that, I just put the u bolts through the plates and bolted them up, it looks like you have another 1" or so left on the ubolts to do it too -

Very nice looking trucks! Your son's truck looks immaculate! I was never a fan of the 2500 front end but it does look good on your truck

I have a job, at a supermarket packing out ice cream! It sucks!!!! The freezer is -12° and I'm in there for a major part of my shifts breaking down pallets and in the isles dealing with customers who happen to be a..holes! Nobodies hiring up here, and if they are, they don't want to hire a 19 year old kid :fs1: I had an interview with a company that lays down astro turf for colleges and stadiums, I'd be working my a55 off but making 5x more then what I make now which is def worth it! :clapping: :Rant off : I'll def get some pics of my custom mounts and the finished product! Can't wait to go back for Rausch! I just bought a Brand new pro comp steering stabilizer before rausch and after doing some high speed runs through some trails at the beach the other night my tie rod adjuster somehow smashed into the stabilizer  guess I need to make some changes up front, I've always been into the high speed stuff and after doing A LOT of research and fine tuning to my suspension my truck should be able to handle just about anything I'm going to pre-run, nothing like driving through the Baja at 50+mph! I'm headed towards making my truck a rock crawler- pre runner - expedition vehicle.... Not trying to make it the best at everything but just able to crawl, take some stuff with speed and if I wanted to camp out on a road trip, ill be able to be self contained okay back to reality I need to put in floor pans and do ball joints before I do anything else!

Why not 4.5 and 35s? :D just trim and bumpstop accordingly! -
Congrats on the new truck, at least you don't live in a salt state and that beauty will last a lot longer

I've been dying to goto an event! I'm def making it to one this year If you have your truck ready before late June there's NAC fest on the 21st!
