  1. Airspeed, the holes are measured from the inside edge of each hole, giving you the shortest measurement possible. Also Did everyone get their copy? I sent them out weeks ago, just want to make sure
  2. Yuck green red and orange? Really? At least it's restored and living to drive another day but after seeing that color combo I might've just thrown up a little. Sorry I'm not sorry
  3. What he said! ^ We all enjoy reading your stories and seeing that you picked up yet another Jeep for 3 bucks and gave the guy a soda and some pocket lint and he tossed in another motor or something. Good to hear you're alright Jim!
  4. Maybe way down the road when it becomes my brothers
  5. HOLY GUACAMOLEEEE! I love that color dude! Truck looks so awesome!
  6. Maybe if I start saving for gas money now I could make it in October or November :rotf: I really wish I could meetup with everyone!
  7. Neither! I made my friend buy it back in march and he bought everything to lift it 6.5" and make it 4wd, the kid we got it from had it sitting behind his shop for a few years and the guy before him didn't drive it in the winter in all that nasty salt! Unfortunately my friend doesn't have time for it so I'm taking it off his hands and keeping it nice and clean :D
  8. I'm getting another one! 89 4.0 auto 2wd longbed with a 44 It's a pioneer and has the same darker blue interior as mine :brows: 130k miles, it's also been repainted, has new floors and no rust elsewhere, original mudflaps and a Lund visor. It only needs the NSS "mod" and a hard brakeline in the rear and it'll be my daily driver until my brother is old enough to drive :clapping: I'm hoping to pick it up from my friend within the next couple weeks
  9. Got my 8 lug rims and picked up 2dr buckets and 5 spd center console! Cleaned up the seats and console today  Hppefully I'll have some real updates to post soon :wavey:
  10. Somebody must've backed up into my truck the other night and drove off, Didnt even leave a f#%king note! Of all places to hit, they crushed the driver side cab corner and b pillar! :fs1: Sliders and cage are coming up next because I'm tired of seeing all my body damage. Also it's nearly impossible to find a front Dana60 for under 600 bucks less than 200 miles from me :headpop:
  11. Screw this winter I'm doing it ASAP! Haha it came out awesome! Loving all the new additions and can't wait for pics and vids!
  12. It looks better to me with the driver side flare on the driver side but it seems like it would function better as a "mudflap" with the pass side flare on the driver side :dunno: Also if you were going to compcut the end of the bed then it would flow better with the driver side flare. Its not even my truck and it's a hard decision haha
  13. Thanks Hornbrod  it wasn't that hard to make, just made a cardboard copy first then went to town with a cutoff wheel and my drill press. Took longer to take the old rusted one off then to make the new one  Id be willing to make another one :wrench:
  14. Ehhh I'd keep the driver side flare on the driver side, it looks like it flows better to me. That might just be because I'm used to seeing them the regular way on the 27282929 soccer mom owned JKs around here
  15. Thanks man! I picked up a set of 8 lug old school white wagon wheels earlier this week. I also forgot to add that I got a uniden pro520xl CB radio and a 3' firestik and everything else to set it up from my girlfriends family for my birthday! I had it mounted and working before my Rausch trip.
  16. Mine came with the darker blue and I love it, just don't love the flat foam in my bench seat
  17. I have the rancho whitebodys for 6.5" lift and my truck rides pretty nice and they're 12" travel. I have bpes up front and have about 4.5" uptravel. I think I paid 170 for all 4. I'm looking at getting the bilstien 7100s or Fox 2.0s 8)
  18. Got back from another roadtrip late last night, this time my truck cruised 700 miles roundtrip with ZERO problems! I also hit 125k miles! I guess she's broken in now :dunno:  Went to Rausch Creek offroad park on Monday and crushed my passenger rocker in the comp course, got an action shot of it being crushed  besides that, no problems whatsoever! Drove back down to Lancaster PA to our hotel Monday night, then back up to Hershey Park Tuesday morning and then the 5.5 hour drive back home. The electric fan really makes a big difference for trails and the beach. I'm really happy with how well my truck performs 8) I didn't take many pictures so I have to get them from friends and post em up later :fool:
  19. Putting in new steering stabilizers are just band-aiding the problem, other parts are worn or loose as stated above!
  20. Thanks man! After my trip I should have a few more updates :wrench: And I don't mind at all, the guy we got it from said it was a cj3a so I just went with it, thanks for the heads up
  21. Got my rotors cut and new pads on, stops a heck of a lot better than the glazed rotors  I also Borrowed some 33" old style MTR tires from a friend for my rausch creek trip on Monday! Gotta check all the fluids and I'll be ready 8) edit: Forgot to mention that I finished my stubby bumper, it came out pretty good for a couple hours work :wrench:
