  1. Awesome stuff! I'd be $hittin bricks being near that cliff with that much lift! Ill be driving out there next summer all the way from NY, as for rockers and cab corners, Cherokee_chief has rust free ones he cut out for sliders that he would ship!
  2. Good work! Looks awesome now, keep it up
  3. Glad to see another member on here stepping up! I picked up a fullwidth lp44 for 100 bucks filly dressed and a rear 60 for 80 without hubs... Most people around here are asking a bit more than by you guys... I've seen stock rear 60s with discs sell for 700 and KP 60s sell for 1500 easy.. What's your plan for the track bar mount and what kinda set up do you plan on running up front? 3 link?
  4. Been busy building a tire carrier/bumper with my buddy frank, came out pretty sweet and got most of the metal free through my job :) Also put in a steering box spacer in both of our trucks  Should be posting up some more fab work next week, gunna get started on my sliders an transfer case skid.
  5. Went to visit a friend a few weeks ago that lives in the lower east side of manhattan of NYC, does pushing the box truck ahead of you thts taking up 1.5 spaces out of the way count as close enough? Hahah couldn't quite fit in the spot an didt feel like looking for a spot for another hour, so I threw it into 4low and pushed it forward about a foot and squeezed in :)
  6. Wooooo! Not a bad list at all, bang it out in a day and post more pics!
  7. Sweet! Good to hear she's coming along! Now hurry up and get some wheeling pics!
  8. Skinny pedal is slang for the gas pedal hahahah Basically Trail 5 at Rausch isn't crawlable in my truck, 3.07s and 33s and the somewhat high crawl ratio in the 231 don't really crawl all that well lol I'll try to get the video up of me making it up and over
  9. My vote is to bring er home and tinker with it and then drive it down the block with huge smile. Pics of the Rx7 must be included into this thread for it to continue just sayin hahaha
  10. I went 3 times this year and always had an awesome time, shoot me a pm next time you wanna go! I'm hoping and planning on having my truck 100% ready to run on one tons and 37s for Rausch in march! Gotta get a couple runs in before next summers Moab Trip!!!!!
  11. Rausch Creek is 4 hours away from me without traffic, I have yet to make it there faster then 6 hours. All because of NYC traffic! There are a few trails and offroad parks way up north but that's an even farther drive for me :( I'm still waiting for more pics from friends, i have a vid of me doing trail 5 hillclimb on my FB but don't know how to link it here?
  12. Thanks man! I have to travel 4 hours to these trails unfortunelty, only the front fenders are cut and If I measured it'd be way off since both fenders have been crunched and self clearanced lol As for an update there's not much, ordered the JCR steering box spacer and trying to save all my pennies for more fullwidth parts!
  13. I put a dent in the same exact spot sliding into a rock his past weekend :(
  14. Good to hear Rquarte! Why thank you manchekid, I don't post on your thread much either but I make sure to check it out now and then! 89comanche, it looks huge in the pic but in person it wasn't that big, we borrowed it from a buddy of mine and it was hauled by an awesome 12valve cummins, pulled the trailer like it wasn't there up hills doing 75+ with ease! Went to Harrys pick n pull in hazleton early this morning to pickup some parts so we can keep wheelingtoday and so I had lights for the ride home at night lol found 1 manche in decent shape, don't know why it was scrapped :( itstailgate will live on with Cherokee chief though! Played around in the comp course for a little today then made our way to trail 5 hill climb.... LOTS of skinny pedal was used today, my truck now makes a few weird noises but drove home perfectly fine after beating on it all weekend! I don't like using the skinny pedal but sometimes you have to ! I'll post more pics when I get them from friends
  15. Off to a pretty good start this weekend! I only had a little cosmetic damage but it still stings to look at the 4-6 new dents in my bed :( took out the driver side marker light and headlight bezel after stepping on the skinny pedal on Crawl Daddy a little too much, I clipped a tree lol ( a gnarly a$$ RED trail at Rausch) I'm actually amazed at how awesome my truck performs for what I have, open front, LSD rear, 3.07s and I ran no doors all day so I can see what the heck I'm driving over otherwise I'd probably have a lot more dents! Got a few pics so without further adeu!!! Going into J Line Brett (Cherokee_chief) and I coming down Crawlers ridge Sitting halfway up Crawl Daddy ( did I mention it was GNARLY?! ) Action shot of me using the skinny pedal! Hopefully well get some better pics tmrw since we still have plenty of trails to cover!
  16. Cherokee_chief and I prepped our trucks last night for our trip to Rausch Creek offroad park this weekend, hopefully were all good! I'm going to try to make a transfer case skid before I leave tonight since well be doing blacks and maybe a couple reds! I'll get those measurements when I'm under my truck after work
  17. Put a new clutch master cylinder in today with Cherokee_chief and took out a crapload of useless wires! My Strange spool and superior 4.88s came in today too :brows: I forgot to measure the U-bolts, I'll do that tmrw I promise lol
  18. I used an XJ OR-Fab tube bumper, had to make my own brackets but width wise it fits perfectly around the bed corners and has 2 d-ring holes built in. http://www.bc4x4.com...xj-rear-bumper/ and a pic of it on my truck

  23. There's plenty of guys that have done the 87+ to 97+ swap, I know the firewall and engine bay are different in an 86 But scroll through these just to get an idea of what you're in for... http://comancheclub.com/topic/32740-alexias-1987-to-1997-comanche/ http://comancheclub.com/topic/14322-19921999-mj-project-slight-paint-update-pg10/page__st__40
  24. Thanks man! Get to work and join the awesome MJ club! Hahah Unfortunately it wouldn't buff out and that shell is already crushed and probably on a boat to china lol -In other news ordered the ballistic XJ/TJ coil perches - Bought a new Strange Spool and 4.88s for the 44 for $250 Couldn't pass up the price! -Picked up a set of aluminum 8lug 16.5 wheels that I'll run until I have money for a new/newish set of steelies and beadlocks
