  1. Thanks cam! I have another house in a small town upstate NY so I know that feeling all too well haha @rockMJ we went on mostly blues and a couple blacks but I didn't take too many then I was too worried about hitting stuff on the bigger rocks, the silver XJ crushed his driver side rocker, the black XJ ripped a shock off and broke his rear DS, the black and grey TJ has armor all around but beat the crap out of it! I ripped my rear bumper off on the last rockface i came off of in the comp course before we were going to call it a day  I try to be nice to my truck! I'm still waiting on the videos! As promised :D The fog was crazy! Me spotting and filming, my truck made it up farther to the left really easy compared to everyone else, it must be a wheelbase thing :dunno:
  2. That's a debate I'm having too  if it put in an interior cage space is already limited and I actually use the bed, any which way you do yours the truck will still be awesome
  3. I'm waiting on my friends for more pics of my truck, I took plenty of theirs and sent them their pics already! Grrrr :fs2: I can't stand living near this city there's traffic no matter what hour of the day and they'll be more rock pics I promise :D
  4. I'm hoping to go back in may for Topless day and late June for NACfest! Also I acquired a fancy new item for the back of my truck :brows: It's an OR-Fab XJ rear bumper that I'm Gunna make work! I was just out taking measurements
  5. Anybody interested in going to topless day at Rausch Creek offroad park? I believe it's May 20th. I have a few friends going with wranglers and Cherokees, I'm thinking about going
  6. I had the same problem after bumping into a stump... measure from the outaide of each tire ,stick a pry bar in between the two and bend the draglink out a hair and then measure again to see if your alignment changed and then adjust accordingly
  7. Coming through the gauntlet in the comp course Sitting at a light in manhattan
  8. Got back from Rausch a couple hours ago, basically I had a fxxking AWESOME weekend! My truck performed flawlessly and did everything I wanted it to do and more! Did mostly blues and a black or two, played around in the comp course and took lots of pics and videos! I setup my tent in the bed and camped out the 2 nights I was there. I'll let the pics do the rest of the talking :wavey: Started the trip sitting in traffic in manhattan for 3 hours :fs1: Went through manhattan on my way home and got some funny looks with all the mud over my truck :D My friends brought go pro cameras and took some pics and videos that I'll post up later
  9. 100 % Ready for Rausch Creek tomorrow! All packed and ready to roll! I'll post up some pics later this weekend!
  10. I'd sell more than that for a sweet FC!
  11. ^ :rotf:  I have a female friend but I don't have a vanity mirror!
  12. thanks dude!! yes you do   :D now i gotta get those pics so i can figure out how to take my doors on and off :wavey: I keep forgetting! I'm going out to my truck right now and snapping a few for yah :cheers:here's the driver door upper hinge, you need to wiz wheel off the lower piece that extends out next to the torx bolt and then bend down the lip so you can slide off the piece you just cut, after you do that i used a high lift jack and a 2x4 under the bottom of the door to get the door off I just filed down the lower pin a little so it makes putting the door on much easier
  13. :agree: you can keep it nice and still wheel it! I DD mine and try to take good care of it
  14. Thats a lot of work and its coming out awesome! Those are some nice clear pics  can't wait to see what you have in store suspension wise!
  15. Trucks looking good! I see the new mirrors too :brows:
  16. PLEASE don't throw those ugly plastic things on your truck! :ack: The flat flares I could see looking alright with 33s JMHO -Nick
  17. My clutch line blew out so I got a new one and put that in and bolted my tranny down to the crossmember finally, also tightened up all my control arms and zip tied my emergency brake lines up so they're not hanging any more. Gunna check all my fluids and add accordingly and I should be 100% for Rausch Creek next weekend! Also here's a preview to the next step of my build ;)
  18. I'm def diggin the bumper! Truck looks awesome! Just a heads up, your 35s will eat your front fenders, make sure you bumpstop accordingly
  19. Trucks looking good dude! If you haven't solved your tires eating your fenders problem yet bolt a couple hockey pucks in the coils, they fit right in and there's already a hole on the bottom of the coil spring pad on the axle  I also forgot to take better pics of the whole door removal but I'll PM you the writeup link I followed and I have saved on my laptop!
  20. What are you using for exhaust, do you have an exhaust leak and do you have a cat, muffler and tailpipe ? My friends XJ back fired like crazy when he ripped the exhaust off from the cat back by accident when we were offroading one night.
  21. Awesome story!
  22. I have my old crossmember still, you can have it if you pay for shipping
  23. I just ordered it through rockauto, napa was $28 and up to 8 business days for shipping, rockauto was $21 with 2-3 business day shipping.... now I just have to sit and wait
  24. Same with me today  thought my slave went so I started takingthe crossmember off and spraying every nut and bolt with pb blaster.... Ate some lunch did some research, came back to it a few hours later and just looked around underneath my truck to notice the clutch line blown open... Not a bad fix at all, just have to locate one
