  1. Some snow near you. (Pete, can you enlarge these?)

    Rear bumper

That bumper looks better on the Comanche than it does on the Dakota. Is the one on the Comanche painted gray over the black rubber?
  3. Wow, I didn't know Wisconsin had palm trees. . How is the college man liking college life? What did you decide to major in?
  4. Those are amazing pictures that you, our Canadian brother, continue to provide. While parts of Montana have had plenty of snow, there is a significant lack of it in many areas. Ski resorts in areas surrounding the south end of Flathead Lake closed a few weeks ago. The lake is 28 miles long and is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi and is one of the clearest lakes in the world. It is larger than Lake Tahoe by area but Lake Tahoe is deeper in parts and holds more water. Glacier National Park always gets snow. In 2022, Going to the Sun Road was not cleared of snow and opened until July 13. In 2023, they beat that and opened on June 13. Here are a few pictures that I did not take.
  5. Thanks gogmorgo for identifying the lake. I was curious what the name might mean. It is the largest lake in Jasper National Park and where Gogmorgo has the pleasure of living. A woman from Philadelphia named Mary Schaffer named the lake in 1907 after the Maligne River. Maligne is a French word for malignant or wicked. The river had been named by Pierre-Jean De Smet, a missionary, (or French trappers) because of the rapids and currents in the river. The Stoney Nakoda First Nation people called it Chaba Imne which means Beaver Lake. Neither name does the lake justice.
  6. This is an art quality photo. Do you recall the name of the lake?
  7. Awesome pics gogmorgo.
  8. This might be getting ahead of you some, but you appear to have thought out your processes. When you re-install the rear window, will you trim it in any way? What will you use for rear wheel well flairs? Neither of those parts are available new in the States and any old ones are deteriorated.
  9. Comment on your gas tank, if you will. I believe I see a third set of wheels
  10. It is nice to know that Comanches have a following in Norway. You look to be doing a great job. Is the red truck with the 'dozers the one you are working on? Is that black paint along the edge of hood?
  11. I can not find writeups on changing cluster indicator lights to gauges for an 87MJ 4.0 5speed. Might someone point me off in the right direction? The truck is 2600 miles away so I would like to email the write up to the mechanic. If I recall correctly, the water temperature sensor needs to be changed and one other one. What is that other one?
  12. Thanks. Great chart and pics.
  13. Amazing results! Any hairline cracks?
  14. Are these wheel centers (and wheels) oem?
  15. Avuncular Pete, you have a good soul.
