  1. Tried it on more than one occasion, could truthfully say I never liked the feeling, just made me feel stupid... Everything was funny and amazing though, but mostly stupid. :ack:
  2. Any MJ specific part you can find, cargo light, tailgate, taillights, etc. Also don't forget the MJ AMC 20, or XJ D44
  3. If you have a RMS leak then that is most likely your problem
  4. :agree:
  5. No, they are the same. The extra payload is in the back so the leaves are different
  6. Typically I love the prerunner style, the rear fenders do make this look awkward though. I don't know what you could really do to fix it though. As far as the blacked out headlights though... :thwak:
  7. It's a 4cyl, it will have an AX4 or AX5 if it is a stick
  8. Said plane is an experimental RV-7A... A little 2 seater. Not sure if he is still a member of the flying club or not who has a few 172s and 182s. If its even feasible to drive, I'm sure there would be an extra seat. Well if that were the case, I'd probably be in
  9. Now if said plane had an extra seat... :brows:
  10. If only I were closer... Not sure if my MJ would make the drive :(
  11. Well In my SOA in this summer I want to try to stay at about, to keep the front lift relatively cheap... However I am also picking up some teraflex shackles on the cheap, so Ill probably try making some hybrid leaf packs with XJ springs so there will be little to no arch. Might not be good for load capacity though
  12. :agree: you could probably swap around some leaves in your spring packs to bring the back end down an inch or two
  13. Looks...
  14. Another +1
  15. northern MI craigslist > for sale / wanted > barter Date: 2011-03-28, 9:38AM EDT Reply to: sale-rku9j-2290828793@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] I have a 1986 Dodge Ramcharger 318 auto, with a 7" industrial snow blower on the front. It has a 4cyl Nissan diesel in the back that runs all the hydraulics and is all remote controlled from the drivers seat. Blower is removable, hooked up to western setup, and you can pin on a plow. Looking to trade for a compact tractor, like john deere, yanmar, kioti, kabota, mf, bobcat. Let me know what you have. 16. IIRC the ranger 8.8 is the wrong width for our trucks
  17. Finally did mine yesterday, don't see a problem with this one, do you?
  18. I think some of those t cases are all gear driven, I doubt it would go in without some effort though... Probably nothing
  19. My brother blew up the AX-15 in his TJ with his first stroker. Now hes got an AX-15 "Terminator" Love how that transmission shifts.
  20. It's a cool idea, but I like this one better:
  21. Not speaking from experience here, but sometimes the 2.8 lives forever, and sometimes explodes randomly. If you aren't afraid of swapping in a 3.4 if it does explode, than I would pick one up. IMO you're starting way ahead if you find a 4.0, but I would take the 2.5 any day over the 2.8.
  22. Yeah, I think I am going to try to find a lawyer. I think if law experience was equal there are many better points to be made on my side than the city's, but unfortunately I don't speak law. Thanks for the advice guys If nothing else I could prove that I was negligent seeing as any time we were ever pulled over before about it, the cop would say everyone needs to be sitting down, or everyone needs to be standing up, or no one can ride on the water tank. We never got a ticket as far as I know, and it has been almost 30 years. Also I was just elected fire chief this semester, so all I knew about the truck was from the previous one. Hopefully I can either find a Pike that is a lawyer, or one of our alumni willing to offer the use of his lawyer. If I can't I am considering conceding, and just pleading no contest :(
  23. I asked on the Jeep Liberty forum to see if anyone knows. This could be helpful: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/15X8-Sat ... 1305wt_888 They want way more for them than what I am willing to pay, but it mentions this style being factory on some older mopars. Ya, but those are listed as 15" Ah right, forgot about that. Guess it didn't occur to me because I'd just as soon have 15s as 16s.

  25. Look, a coil or MSD box really won't do anything for you. Typically these are helpful in a few high performance situations, like high compression, forced induction, and or high rpm, where in the first two it takes more power to ignite the air/fuel charge, and in high rpm situations the engine exceeds the peak cycle time of the coil causing poor spark, so a higher energy coil (and or a cdi (msd) box) will help boost the spark power. The Jeep 4.0 is not high compression, forced induction, nor a high rpm motor. The OEM ignition system is beyond capable of giving you a full burn as it sits. Most people don't even see a difference with ignition upgrades when they build strokers, so why would it help a stock 4.0? Edit: It could also be advantageous in a motor with large open chamber heads where there is a large flame front needed, but the 4.0 wedge design does not fit this scenario.
