Sorry, no it isn't. The headlight bezels and the grille are all separate parts on the Cherokee and Comanche. 1984 through 1996 all look the same from a distance, but the later ones were changed so that the horizontal trim strip across the top of the headlights and grill was incorporated into the headlight bezels and grille rather than being a separate part. I thought Chrysler made that change beginning in 1990, but it might not have happened until 1991. {Edit to add} Quadratec shows the years as 84-90 and 91-96. I know exactly what you're talking about because I am looking for those little corner bezels to complete the trim stripping above and below the side market lights but I cannot find them anywhere! Do you happen to know where I could find them?? -
HO Fuel Sending Unit

I just put together a ho pump and sending unit into my renix fuel pump assembly, and it works, the arm for the float is a little short but that just means it's going to read "full" longer -
I need a high output fuel pump/ sending unit for my comanche. And info on one would be greatly appreciated. Pm me to contact

So I did the ho to renix swap in my 88 4.0 comanche, I used a 92 xj laredo as a donor, I swapped all of the interior (dash, gauge cluster, etc.) I also used all of the interior wiring from the cherokee, as well as the engine wiring harness. I followed the chart for the renix to ho splicing, and I turned my truck over today, it turned over just fine, but I did not hear the fuel pump running. I have not checked to see if the tail lights work yet, can anyone help me out? Is there a ground wire somewhere I could have missed?

I still have pins 7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15,16 sticking out not soldered to anything on the black HO xj dash harness. And on the grey HO xj dash harness I still have pins 8,11,12,13,14,15,16 to connect. What do I do with These wires? the chart I followed was the HO xj dash to rear renix mj harness, but it doesn't say where to connect these wires?

I just bought my first mj it's a 2x4 1988 manual 4.0l with only 119000 miles on it. When me and my friend were looking at it we checked it out, oil level, leaking fluids etc.. But we were driving it back with no problems at all, no ticks, no knocks or anything, and all of a sudden we hit a huge pothole in the road causing the front of the truck to shake uncontrollably (like a tire was way off balance) until we came to a stop on the side of the highway. So we got out and looked at the "damage" and we noticed there is oil sprayed all over the bottom side of the intake manifold and all over everything within that area. We looked at it for a while and could not figure out where it's coming from. So we started it back up and oil pressure was hanging around 20 at idle, we drove off to see how it would go, and oil pressure went back up to the normal 40 and it seems to be fine? So we drove for around 10 minutes on the highway, then pulled into a gas station to see how the oil leak was doing, it only dropped a few drops. So my question is; does anyone have any idea what could have happened?

Sorry to bring up an old subject on here, but can anyone tell me how hard it would be to swap a 1992 4.0 w/ auto trans. from a cherokee into a 1992 manual l4? -
Hi guys, I'm new to this forum so sorry if this has already been covered/asked elsewhere in these forums, but I'm still kinda learning how to navigate. But anyways I've got a 1992 4x4 cherokee loredo, and am in the market looking for a comanche, and I've came across quite a few comanches, but they are all pre-1991 and was wondering what would need to be done (modifications, fabrications, etc) and how hard it would be to swap in EVERYTHING from the cherokee (wiring, harnesses, transmission, t-case, H.O. motor) into the comanche?

You have a 2.5 if you have a 4 speed. The transmissions are different between the 6 cylinders and 4 cylinders. Your donor for the auto will have to be a 4 cylinder as well for it all to bolt up. okay, thanks for the reply
