I'm looking to buy a 1987 2wd comanche, but it has the manual 4 speed trans in it.. I'm looking to convert the truck to 4wd by using a 1992 AUTOMATIC xj as a donor for all the 4x4 parts. and i was wondering how hard it would be to put the automatic trans in the comanche?

yes, that's what I meant, thank you. I'm going to attempt a conversion using a 92 cherokee as a donor, will I have to worry about the CAD?

I'm looking to buy my first mj for $1000 or under. Needs to be 4x4 l6 engine, 89-92 and in pretty good condition, I can replace the floors etc. location is wausau Wisconsin. So if you know of a mj close let me know. Thanks!
