  1. I've been trying to decide about painting the uniframe body color and this beautiful MJ looks great !
  2. Thanks for trivia tip on crash protection ! I'll be looking for doors now :)
  3. Took Comanche on nice outing, my daughter has been driving it trouble free every day so navigating the ruts and low water crossing with street tires were no big deal for her. Group traversed across private land following Trammels Trace, a North / South trail first used by Indians and then used by early pioneers such as David Crockett. Also visited a trappers cabin that shows up on maps in mid 1820’s & last Caddo Indian trading post that dissolved in winter of 1837. Really enjoying the Comanche !
  4. THE Real Gladiator 67 J3000 with AMC 327 V-8 T98 4 speed. Is X rural fire truck with 15K miles. Special ordered with HD44 big ball closed knuckle front & D60 rear. And Ramsey PTO winch cable actuated. Best NOS finds for that Jeep is Clardy A/C & rubber cab mat ! 87 J20 with 36K miles. It was kept at vacation home in AK. Guy was avid fisherman and plowed his way into remote fishing spots. When he sold his vacation home, he gave truck to his trusted airplane mechanic with 12K miles on it.
  5. Here is better picture of Jeep Special Equipment accessory catalog: Jeep SE calls the round tubular bed rails O.E.M. Rails. looks to be easy to recreate.
  6. Eaglescout526 from dealership. one more decision to make, not sure of look the square rectangle bed bars with sport-bar. anyone ever seen the tubular bed bars?
  7. I've got parts of Jeep Special Equipment tiny air compressor that I think must of been used for these shocks or filling a tire real slow.
  8. Super rare !!! made from pure unobtainanium. if it hasn’t sold already I’ll buy or got stuff to trade.
  9. Beautiful MJ & scenery!
  10. Picked these NOS new in box MJ specific console’s. I slightly opened clear bags. At this time these are available for trades. I’m interested in most any Jeep dealership or NOS parts for pretty much any classic Jeep.
  11. Think light grey is called "Grey Mist"
  12. SandMountainJeep I did good to remember SandyJeep after long trip :) Found the NOS grey mist floor mats at swap meet. Didn’t figure I would ever find these!!!! They will only be used when showing. And partial trade for this 92 Comanche dealership poster on laminated heavy cardboard. It’s pretty large size. Then stopped by stash and got lot more goodies.
  13. Thanks for heads up, I have 2 of the A/C climate controller’s. Just met SandyJeeper @ Southern 86 & prior show & swap meet in GA. Really nice 91 4.0 HO.

  17. Rarest of the best Jeep ever built. https://www.rubitrux.com/2005-hemi-jeep-wrangler-unlimited-rubicon.html I hear that it can be bought.
  18. Got shop fairly organized and got some work time in. Also working on daughters XJ, it’s priority. But I’m wanting install the sport bar now. Very lucky to find such a nice SWB Sport Bar. thanks again Saveeyrip. i sanded the light scratches and got the factory weld splatter off. also dehorned & chamfered the sharp edges so powder coat will adhere properly.
  19. 97+ Console does fit Yeti cup. But there are 2 cup holders and are spaced into the beginning of tall part of console lid. there is a hole in eBay link above Yeti stainless cup holder with a hose barb for drain. This guy thought his mousetrap out well! anyway guess could drill couple mounting holes and fasten with sealing screws. Could then keep his drain idea functional. would leave a big gap around Yeti sleeve, but at least not spill cup :) I’ve got really good custom stereo place that makes all kinds of stuff gonna see what they can do.
  20. There are different styles of cup holder inserts. Most of the china made ones the standard 32 oz Yeti will fit, but are too tight and hard to remove without dislodging the insert from its mount. I got tired of re-gluing the insert, ( I even put a large hose clamp on the one on my boat) and searched for a better solution. There was someone else in world that recognized the same situation and built a better mouse-trap. I bought his creation and it's slightly oversize to hold the 32 oz Yeti perfectly. Easy to grab a drink while driving along. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Stainless-Steel-Yeti-Drink-Holder-Marine-Boat-Airboat-Fits-Yeti-Cups-Perfect-/153640369995?hash=item23c5adff4b
  21. I owe Rylee144 big time for posting the FB marketplace link for this incredible NOS tailgate! I offered finders fee but he wouldn’t take it. It survived all these years & even shipping from WA to TX. Almost flawless condition, even box is in great shape! Haven’t decided what to do with it. Don’t think I could bring myself to painting it.
  22. So I’ve searched this entire forum & NAXJA and haven’t seen any factory looking cup holders that will hold a 32 oz standard size Yetti cup Best idea I have is a black plastic insert in cubby space of full console. Got this idea from Strokermanche who has a chunck of styrofoam hollowe’d out to fit Yetti cup :) I’ve spent way too many hours on forums and have concluded that MJ guys are the most resourceful entrepreneurs of all the Jeep models. Mostly out of necessity as not much aftermarket support. Anyone here have ability to design 3 D print such a needed accessory? I will pony up first $ in advance to help get this started. Anyone with me? Attached pic is best cup holders I’ve seen so far: it’s cool to look at but imagine its janky.
  23. Awesome electric lime green LJ.
  24. Looking for a real nice gas tank skid plate no rust & no big dents. I can send prepaid self addressed Fedex label if that helps for shipping hassle.
