  1. 2wd clear 30.5 tires? Probably need a full 2in lift in the front.. I'm looking at 245/75/16s on the mamba rubi lookalike wheels..
  2. I would probably buy brand new XJ 4x springs. Jeep is a 4.0 2wd.
  3. They have a 225/75/16 in a Duratrac, 29 in tall..thanks for the calculator link.. these tires are load range E. little too heavy duty for the MJ? i just drive it on the highway in the summer as a DD..probably have to run 10 pounds of air in them  245/75/16 they have also that are Cs..But they are 30.5 inches tall..
  4. guess i should have mentioned that its 2wd. I'm going to be looking at leveling kit, 4x coils or something for it..nothing too obvious, wanna keep stockish appearance.. by the way your freedom is :brows:
  5. If I did this to my stock 88, would it net me a little more tire clearance-work as sort of a leveling kit?
  6. What size tires? I ultimately I wanna run Duratracs, KM2s, something like that on my stock MJ.. Dang metric sizes!!

    Before and After

 exactly what i was looking for. i like looking at pics!! i like the before, during, and after! very cool.
  18. See if anyone can beat this: Yes we cut the bedsides off, cut the front fenders, ripped the swaybar out, wheeled the heck out of it till the front leaf hangers ripped right out of the unibody...it kept up with my 3.5 lifted XJ on 31s all day in our OHV park..Buddy actually drove this thing for awhile till he seen how bad the uniframe was and didnt think it should see 70mph anymore. Eventually it was stripped of the trans and t-case for a 84 XJ, engine started having problems, I pulled everything comanche I could think of off of it and it went in for scrap..250 bucks invested in the whole rig!
  19. It also depends on how you want to use the truck. Mud truck you would be okay to play till you find an upgrade. Rocks no way with a stock 35.
  20. I had to put a new tank in my 91. Leaking at the seam. Found tanks online from 123.99 to 250 bucks.
  21. you need a haynes or a chilton manual...i guess for a cherokee.. I know they have a whole section on fluid and maintenance..
  22. i am sure a fan of those tricycles  I remember wearing the front tire out on mine when I was little!
