Well I have one for sale... Rob :brows:

I hate both of you. A bedside hanging under the front of my bar with a lit tail light would be super sweet. Especially when this is the couch. Rob

Your Green 92!? I am a nerd for the weird and unusual. The '92 is that, but only in paint and package. There are a million 4.0, AW4, 231's out there. Sure it may be the only Green Eliminator we know of, but its no longer in the running to be the last. It's close, but not the last, as we thought it was when I bought it. Now, a diesel MJ... Not many can hold the title for that honor... So, seriously. If anyone would want to make an offer on the Eliminator... I will entertain for the possibility of getting this truck. Rob.

How much did you pay, and how much would you want? That looks like wall art to me. Rob
-
I've found out that there are quite a few yards nearby too... Next time I go, I am going to make a full day out of it. Rob

This is tempting, almost worth selling the unicorn for... Anyone want to buy my Late build '92 Eliminator? Seriously. Rob

Awhile back JP magazine announced their contest for the ugliest Jeep. It was an online contest in their forums to see who could post up a pic of the nastiest looking hunk o' Jeep. The winner got to pick out any Superchips Flashpaq programmer... http://forums.jpmagazine.com/70/8610256 ... index.html Having nothing to lose, I sent in a picture of one of my old MJ's... Before I had a chance to paint it. Needless to say, after 2 months up, no one could best me... I got this from John Cappa today: Too bad that none of my junk is new enough to take advantage of that thing... I'm going to go ahead and get the Jeep one (http://www.superchips.com/Store/JeepFlashpaq.aspx) and plan ahead to the future. I'll most likely end up with a newer Jeep, and I know plenty of people with newer Jeeps I could help out with it. Anyone have any experience with the Flashpaq? Just thought I would share the good news with my brotha's. Rob

Called the museum today. She's down for us all coming out. If we let her know enough in advance, she will make sure we get a Jeep history buff as a tour guide. I also called the direct number of the guy who runs the archives, and left him a message. You fence sitters are killing me. Rob :D

X2. Not really costing you anything sitting there. Probably won't ever find another one. Spray the undercarriage with WD40 and keep it oiled until you get around to it. Rob

Will JB Weld work on EGR tube?
Automan2164 replied to fiatslug87's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Pretty freaking hot. And if it specifies not to use on exhaust right on it... Why are we here? :D Get it placed how you want it, and have the local muffler guy weld it up for you. Toss him a 10, and forget about it. Rob  -
Called the museum today, seems everyone is on vacation. I left a message for the only person to be back in office this week. Hopefully hear back tomorrow. As always, I'll keep you in the loop. Rob

I've got room at my place... How much you want? Rob

So who is? After not getting any replies to one of my last posts in the main thread, I am taking it here... I really need a rough idea so I have a number when I call the museum. Just looking for a current list of who is possibly thinking of going to Pete's the weekend of July 23, 24th at the end of this month. I am leaving early on the 22nd, to get there in the afternoon. I'll be staying until Monday the 25th. Pete is located in lower Michigan, by Detroit for a rough estimate of distance. The plan is to help Pete get most of his fleet mobile, and put names to faces. Drink some beer, and have a good time. I will try to arrange a group walk through the Walter P Chrysler Museum. I will post more details as I get them. So far, I know Ben (Neohic), and I are definitely in, as Pete (I hope) :D I thought there was a whole group of dudes talking about going, but no one is speaking up anymore... I will edit and update this list as I hear: Pete M Automan2164 Neohic Mvusse So who's in? Rob :redX:

Enjoy. ------------MRSIMONS's 1987 JEEP COMANCHE------------- MODEL AND YEAR Original stock specs: 1987 Jeep Comanche LWB 4.0L Renix Auto, AW4 4x4, NP231 D30/D35 ENGINE & PERFORMANCE: 1999 XJ 4.0 H.O. It was on my first wheeling trip. I had a brand new 3" lift and brand new 31" BFG M/Ts, and I couldn't wait to hit the trails. But, I had absolutely no idea what to expect and no previous wheeling experience. We rode around on easy trails for a while, which I thought was insanely hardcore! Then, we pulled up to a small rocky ridge. To me, we were looking up a mountain. I had a fantastic spotter any my little truck climbed right up that ridge. I was completely amazed that a vehicle could do such things. I was hooked. The feeling of conquering a tough obstacle keeps me coming back. What owner loves best about CC I love seeing all the guys picking up old, beat up trucks and bringing them back to life. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Congrats! Holy cow. Every time I go through your thread, I am further inspired to get working on my truck. Your build should be and is an inspiration to any member looking to lift and modify their MJ's. One stroll through your thread, and you can see a few different stages of lifts. From the small boost, to the shorties, to the longarms, its all there. Mild to wild in one quick stop. That tube bed! AMAZING! That's what one should look like. Perfect example of a well built MJ. Congratulations on your MJOTM pick. You definitely made it easy for us to pick on this one. Rob

You are too kind Jim... Bring some of that rust free gold to some of us poor slobs in the rust belt... What do you have in stock? Rob :brows:

Getting down to crunch time here... I've been really busy lately, but have a few things to toss out: Pete's house is in Riverview, MI for those who don't know. Its on the far east side by Detroit. For hotels, I just started looking tonight, but think there is a decent one close by, which is the Best Western in Woodhaven, MI. Looks like the room rate is about $60 a night. Its about 5 miles and 10 minutes away from Riverview. I have yet to book anything. Let me know what you guys think. http://book.bestwestern.com/bestwestern ... MI-_-23085 For plans, we have to leave a day out to wrench on the bossman's fleet, as this is why we are all getting together. I figure we can do this either Saturday or Sunday. Another day, I would like to hit up the WPChrysler Museum. If we register a group of 15 or more, we get half off admission for each person, and the availability of a tour guide to take us through the museum at no charge. They say it takes about an hour and a half. Once I get a better idea of how many people are going, I will get on the horn to arrange something for us. Maybe at the same time I can explain who we are, and try once again to get into see the Thunderchief. Maybe. Also, in honor of Jeep's 70th anniversary, they have a special featured exhibit/event. Convenient. :D http://wpchryslermuseum.org/newsroom.do ... rs_of_Jeep I will most likely be bringing the woman, as will Ben (Neohic), and I know I will have to entertain her at least one day. So, Friday will most likely be the day for that. I am planning on leaving my house early Friday, getting into MI, checking in, and seeing the sights. I'll be leaving Moday, with the Hidden winch in hand. Ideas? Opinions? comments? Let me have them. Also, if you guys out lay out about how many are coming, so I can toss a round number out to the museum when I call them next week. Rob

'nuff said. Remember the time we got all excited about a Jeep pickup? The one that just turned out to be a dealer kit to weld up the back doors on a 4 door JK to make it into a pickup? Yep, you get my point. Believe it when I see it. Mark my words. If this thing comes to fruition, it will look NOTHING like the old Wagoneer, and will do it NO justice. Rob

At the public works department I work for, we are currently exploring the feasibility of propane. They want to get one truck to start, but I think we might push to switch the police fleet. Rob

I would buy a disposable XJ in Cali, and tow-dolly the MJ up there... Once you get up to MN, you will find the rust-free Vehicles in Cali were a luxury. Be prepared to see rust like you've never seen it before. Rob
