That would about sum it up  I have had that hair for nearly 22 years--today was a tough day. Ah, loss of the michigan mudflap, the wisconsin waterfall, the camaro cut... Sad day for rat-tails and mullets alike. Rob L.

YES! Thanks all. I would have had to make my own if the red print didn't get passed, and I don't think red spray paint would have held up good in the wash... ;) Rob L.

:dunno: Maybe the pic I posted will sway a few others... Rob L.

Maybe I'm just weird... Just like the way it looks: Red print on the grey background in that style of grey shirt is just plain ol' cool looking. Rob L.

;) No problem. You know, when your not stirring the pot, you're really not a bad guy. You contribute here, and have some good points. I really do wish the best of luck to you and yours. I have a friend and his wife who are in the hospital right now with complications. I couldn't picture the stress. Hope everything goes well for you. Rob L.

Rocky Road - Comanche Lift Kit
Automan2164 replied to ScottyDog's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Not to kick this any further, but you could have just got a kick a$$ kit from rubicon express for $1200. With EVERYTHING you need. http://www.rubiconexpress.com/Jeep/MJ/P ... art=RE6500 All the engineering is done. Just bolt the (female dog) on. Rob L. -

 I like it. I thought they were just full logo on the front. I like the layout with small in front pocket area, and big in back. Just hope there are a few more people on board with my red print want Anybody else on board? Just need a few more... Rob L.

After blowing off all of the motars, I had 24-or so cans of misc aerosol material from work. Carb cleaner, windshield de-icer, battery cleaner....etc. It was fun just lighting the straw on fire and making flamethrowers, but it all got old. So, we had the idea to place them in the bonfire-with great results. Placed upright, the plastic valve would melt out, and make an incredible 10-15 foot flame pointed in the direction of the top of the can. (not always up) Or, placed face down, they would blevy the bottom of the can, and make a 25-30 foot fireball. problem was, the "sitting" couch was a little too close after we just threw the rest of the 10 or so cans in. We were all at good distance, but the couch wasn't. So in the middle of all of this madness (because the final cans were in an array of positions) we were behind the couch, trying to put out the front of it with old bud light :ack: . Had a couple blevies, but all in all, saved part of the couch. We couldn't let it go up, because the couch donor requested we be there for the demise of said furniture. I would post a vid or something, but my computer won't recognize the file from my camera phone. (Comes up as an unplayable .3g2 extension on WMP, anyone have a fix?). And the Chief knows how we are, we get some of our best ideas from him. :shake: Afterall, you have to be somesort of a pyro to be on the fire department. Rob L.

Thanks Pat. Back from Hiatus? Rob L.

Dually noted. I didn't know that. I was assuming that the standard printing was white. Tan on the Black would look cool. But I hope there is a few more people out there that want a red on grey shirt, otherwise I am going to have to buy 10-12 of them. ;) Rob L.

Welding aluminum that is. After being the only guy in the Fleet Maintence Garage at the ol' Public works to master the TIG, I was nominated to try to weld up some aluminum soccer goals that got tossed by a tornado(Really!). Here are the pics: I know the pics aren't that good, but I wanted to ask some of the master welders on the board, how I did for my first time welding aluminum. Also, based on the pics, how could I improve? Thanks, Rob L.

Found this in a Renix era Junkyard XJ, laying in the back seat. Was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the subject. :dunno: Rob L.

Got my first when I was 15, built it, and got it tip top before I was licsened up. Then started the revolution. It went in this order. '86 MJ '89 MJ '89 MJ '91 MJ '97 Ram 2500 '84 Dodge Dipolmat Police Car '83 CJ-8 '91 XJ '98 ZJ Still have (DD) '88 MJ '96 XJ Still have '90 MJ Still have '93 XJ Still have I had a brief affair with a Dodge 2500, but at least I kept it in the MOPAR family. I want to find another though. At 600 RWHP, I Blew the trans in the Diesel, bent all of the shafts, and didn't have the coin to fix it. Fell back into jeeps with the '91 XJ on the cheap, and liked the cheap nature of the Jeep I had remembered as compared to the bottomless abysmal moneypit a 3/4 ton Diesel truck can be. The ZJ is a all around great vehicle, and it being a limited, very comfortable :brows: . Now 22, I just require something with some tow capability. I think a 4.7L 5 speed Ram would fit the bill without breaking the bank at the moment. Rob L.

Could we do a grey hoodie/t-shirt, with red print? I would be interested in something like that, as well as the standard black items. Rob L.

Gauge Cluster Question

Maybe squeeze, push in a bit, and pull out? And I'll beat sirsam to it... "That's what she said..." ;) Rob L. :D -
God, is there anything he doesn't have? Only person in the world lucky enough to fall upon an ultra rare renault diesel on the side of the road, AND pay only $75 for it. Lucky sonofa... :fs1: Rob L. ;)

I wasn't even born until '86. Still crapping in my drawers that year, much less boxing aware. Probably still figuring out why I had 11 fingers. Rob L.
