  1. Don, I know you and I are on the same page when it comes to wiring, and attention to detail. While I wouldn't mind a hard copy, a cd is easier, and I bought a toughbook. The toughbook was purchased to sit with me in the garage while I am "knee deep in crocodiles". Call it the new generation, but I think I like the idea of it in data form, and that toughbook can take shock, water.... But I know where your coming from on the hard copy. I was just born in a digital age. ;) Since you also have the '91, it is a XJ/MJ/YJ complete correct? In one deal? Rob L.
  2. Got that, but I am a picky SOB, so I am looking for the '91 FSM. Rob L.
  3. Same here. Sent it to a friend too. Rob L.
  4. I found some FSM's (Factory service manuals) on ebay, on disc format. I was curious as to if anyone had purchased one of these? I am assuming they are legit, since in order to duplicate you need mopar's permission, so it seems good, but I wanted to put a feeler out for them... 8) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1984-198 ... Literature http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jeep-Che ... Literature According to the listing, they are searchable (cool), and just use PDF... It would be nice to have the '91 manual (which covers XJ/MJ/YJ, correct?) for when I do the HO swap into the '90 with the '91 wires. :brows: Plus, being able to have it on a laptop, rather than flipping page after page is cool, and these are about half the price of the regular hardcopy. What do y'all think? Worth it? :dunno: Rob L.

  6. Tap tap tap... Just checking. Rob L. :dunno:
  7. Nice play by play. Rob L.
  8. You got it. The first post just had two image tags. You only want one set. A lot of the photo websites will automatically put them in the adress of the pic, so adding the tags on the CC site will make it do that... Rob L.
  9. :rotf: Rob L.
  10. If it has anything to do with "that" GM, i'd sell it quick. Its cursed. :ack: Rob L. :D
  11. So howd ya get it clean? Rob L.
  12. Better MJ pin pic: Rob L.
  13. :agree: X 1000 Rob L.
  14. Brent and I just got done, I picked up some Mopar signs and patches, a fire chief gasoline sign... And for the icing on the cake, Brent and I were able to find a comanche pin for the both of us :brows: , in the MEGA huge pin thing on the inside. Looks like a SporTruck decal, with an 8 slot grille. Pic: (Sorry for the crappy quality, the cell phone was all I had) Rob L.
  15. Dave, site is madisonclassics.com. Its at the jefferson county fairgrounds, about one hour north from me. Call me when you figure out what you guys are doing... Rob L.
  16. Looks like the rain (if it does make it) won't happen until later on. See ya there Brent, If its jusy you, and I know your shooting for 11 AM, I will shoot for that also. Rob L.
  17. Nice, I just run Fire fighter plates on everything, but the way that goes, its expensive, to the tune of $110 a year for each vehicle. :fs1: But $20 of that goes to the Illinois FF fund, so I really don't mind too much. Rob L.
  18. Welcome to the group, ask all you want! Once you pick up the new MJ, please put the specs in your signature (done through the user control panel), so that when you do ask a question, we know exactly what Year, engine, trans, x-fer, etc... you are talking about. Sounds like you are going to have a project in your hands! Rob L.
  19. Ok, well I am running late anyway, my alarm didn't go off. But I take it Wade won't be coming until later either since he got some good stuff, and Dave's not coming until noonish I think, I will trek out of herew around 9-10AM. Puts me there somewhere between 10-11 AM. Anyone who is leaving beofre this, feel free to call me if you see this, and will be there before me. Rob L.
  20. I am leaving here at 7 AM, to be there at 8 AM. The way I see it, even if all the good parts are picked over and gone, they still have a super sweet car show tomorrow. When are you guys getting there? My number is 815-403-3669. Rob L.
  21. Most guys also run their own wires anyway, as the factory harness only lets you have the fogs on with driving lights only. They turn off with brights, and off with headlights off. Rob L.
  22. Engine mounts are different, but easily re-done. And welcome to the group! Rob L.
  23. Me > :fool: Rob L. :D And for the record, I am 23. Though sometimes, I don't feel like it.
  24. According to the website, it opens at 6 AM. :dunno: Rob L.
  25. What year grand? Most grans had a 42RE behind the 4.0L. Rob L.
