  1. So you can park it in your garage, never do anything with it and sell it like the last one??? Hey, I drove it. And while were at it, ain't that kinda the pot calling the kettle black there Pedro? Those who live in glass houses shouldn't masturbate in the daytime. Rob L. :D
  2. You should have cash! Rob L.
  3. Do you mean CJ8-esque? Scrambler was an appearance package on a CJ8, not a model....(ducking/running) :D Used to own one. But not many people know what the hell your talking about if I were to say CJ8. Rob L.
  4. I hope, that if anything, it will be scrambler-esque. No seperate bed, just one tub, and a half cab. Anything more than that will be a massive failure in my eyes. Make it an Unlimited, with a half cab no back seats. Rob L.
  5. I have the same header panel on my '87. Your talking about the how the '86 style has the chrome trim above the grille? I know Brent's truck is an '88 and I believe its original. Rob L.
  6. Invoice me another one and include one of those fine lookin' new covers. Rob L.
  7. Hell Creek. A member here who make's their own leaf packs. He has Metric Ton, 3", and 4.5" packs available. Rob L. :D
  8. Daily driver: 1992 MJ, Extended cab. 4.7L Stroker AX15 NP242 D30/D44 4.10's 4.5" lift, SUA with H.C. packs Bright white exterior Black interior Soft 8's 32" meats I would go on about a hauler, family rig and such, but just picture a bunch of FSJ's. Rob L. :D
  9. You mean the 4x4 conversion? Its pretty simple, but I would highly recommend getting an XJ donor. You could find one for around $500 usually, and get yourself all the parts you need with the rest of it to sell off when your done. Overall, the cheapest/easiest way to do it. Since this would be your first time, you could use the XJ as a guide, and put whatever you took off of the XJ right on to the MJ. I am a bit far to come and help, but I would be happy to walk you through any step possible over the net. Rob L.
  10. That truck is an old members MJ... His screen name escapes me at the moment... Pete will have to help me out. Unfortunately, that truck was rolled in an offroad excursion. Rob L. :(
  11. Always interested! I love the builds! Thanks! I was wondering about it! Rob L.
  12. Yeah, your pretty far down there... I think MCF90 might be close to you... My best advice would be to pick up a cheap junk XJ donor... Be the best way to get all your parts for your conversion. That, and whatever you don't use could put money back into your pocket. Rob L.
  13. Well, I have been putting off doing another axle sawp on the ZJ, but finally can't put it off any longer. So... I had to bring the unicorn out of retirement, and get it ready for DD status. It had a flat on the front left, but it ended up being the valve stem. Since I have no way to bust it down and put a stem in it, I put on the spare wheels and tires I had laying around. Should have done it a lot sooner. Before: On baby little 215 snow tires and Elim wheels. Now: Meaty 235's on black spraypainted XJ rims. I also had to move the Farmer out of the garage, in prep for the ZJ moving in. Sigh... I wish I could be spending money on the Farmer, but the ZJ is the somewhat reliable DD in need of attention. Rob L.
  14. I'm in the same boat. Also quarter of a century come August. Man, I'm getting old... Rob L. :D HUMPH!! ;) Rob L.
  15. Awesome start so far, loving the mass amount of pictures. Where did you get the cab corner? Rob L.
  16. I'm in the same boat. Also quarter of a century come August. Man, I'm getting old... Rob L. :D
  17. Where you at in IL? There is a BUNCH of us up around the WI border... Rob L.
  18. (had). Somewhere between when I sold it to Pat, and he sold it to this guy, the AX15 fell out in Pats shop. Rob L.
  19. $200 is a very fair price. Rob L.
  20. Ben is too nice. I'm going to say that if you want a cover, please at least shoot him a few bucks for the trouble. Rob L.
  21. Have you seen the new Compass? It got a refresh... But only the front unfortunately. Fest your gawkers on this sucker: Friend of mine over at Chrysler posted this up today... Front looks promising... Rob L. :dunno:
  22. Its more fun like that. I just held back the brights when the circuit breaker would trip. Then, eventually, I had a headlight blow, and with just one it wasn't enough to trip the breaker... So I just drove around with one headlight until I sold it. Rob L.
  23. You do know the body and frame are one piece correct? Rob L. :dunno:
  24. Give him a shout to stop by if you see him on AIM... I was wondering if he was still alive. Rob L. :dunno:
