  4. ive had 2 Hyundai's and they have been very good to me. my 98 elantra was only retired because the body was shot. still ran and drove awsome even with 368xxx klms on the odo. my 2001 elantra has been an awsome car. only trouble i had was the tranny going out from PO abuse. my 01 is fun to drive roomy and very reliable and has 238xxx klms. my 98: my 01:
  5. "unkown number" is a members mj. i can't remember now but it is now white lifted and sitting on moabs with 31s if i remmeber right it was wrecked and thats why it doesnt have the kit anymore
  6. your driveshaft will work fine as it is. if you find said xj you will have to get the spring perches welded in the correct spot( theres a picture in the picture thread that shows where they gotta be) auto 4cyl would be 4;56 gears..
  7. sucks about the car... that mj looks prime for some custom fabwork.. tube rockers, flatbed.....

  15. being a fire fighter i am ashamed any firedepartment would do that much damage to a relatively undamaged vehicle. although i do recignize the technique they used and it is quite fun......
  16. :agree: That's what I'd look for! (From experience!!) i was pulling into summer school one day last summer and some idiot pulled out in front of my and when i hit the breaks all i heard was snap. my inner break pad on the pass side broke in 3 pieces and i lost breaks on that side. it also wrecked my rotor on the drive home. all because the caliper was seized up
  17. are your pads wearing evenly? if they are you may have a siezed caliper.
  18. roughly 12350 feet higher than me lol
  19. i swear by the 2.5. my old truck was a 2.5 4 speed 2wd and could go everywhere a v8 4x4 chevy went. it always started and had enough power to spin 31s through some pretty thick mud and crawl up rocks. the same motor will eventually go into my new my if i ever get around to finishing it
