    Fsm Caution

I had downloaded those add on manuals through the NAXJA web site a couple of years ago, but I lost the bookmark to it.
  3. I like this, bounced around a little and found most of what I wanted. Gonna have to take a tutorial on how to post pictures again though.
  4. []http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/cto/2901926743.html The tail lights bed and bumper look cherry!
  5. Fixed some stuff on it, drove around the neighborhood to circulate fluids and get the tires round again. Still need to wash it though.
  6. no you didn't, just do the obvious... I will later, will pull distributed and run pump up to prime it. It will give me the opportunity to test the gauge also.
  7. I think I killed it. Haven't ran the truck all summer, got in it yesterday, cranked it, ran fine, but didn't realize I didn't have oil pressure. Stopped it before he noise got too loud :headpop:
  8. I got mine at NAPA, all other aftermarket ones I had purchased only lasted a year or so. The NAPA one has been in for 5 years now.
  9. Change your gearing, get fresh fuel injectors, redo your vacuum lines. Depending on your driving habits and axle ratio, that doesn't sound too bad.
  10. Bled brakes, discovered my axle seal is leaking badly on the left rear side. Bummer. guess i will be getting a new axle. (can't spell tonight)
  11. Website? And thanks Pete for quick reply.
  12. I am needing another windshield replaced on the Truck. I am also sick of the "shiny" molding that goes over the windshield cause I get leaks when they come to me to replace it vs. taking it in. Is there a rubber molding alternative like we have on the back window???
  13. Have you looked in the jy? seems like every XJ i look at has one. Mine cost $2
  14. It is tank capacity dependant, I don't believe the XJ versions are compatible
  15. Make sure the harness in back isnt reversed. There is the number one on the connector and same on the film piece. I did that once and got the same thing.
  16. thanks for the info, just never thought that you could get replacement wheels. The trike last forever, just not the tires.
  17. One question.... where the heck did you find replacement wheels? That looked like it was fun and it turned out nice!
  18. Never seen any other options for tail lights outside of you trying to adapt something you like.
  19. I hate oreilly parts!
  20. I had to tackle block mine last time from the inside. Thought I was going to break something.
  21. can't say for sure, but usually a rich fuel mixture is due to a temperature sensor, but not sure that our computer monitors that. I will have to dig in the factory manual later on this evening to see. Other thing to check fuel pressure for a leaking fuel injector. I will see if there is anything when I get done with my honeydo and post up.
  22. sounds like a bad idle solenoid, it is next to the TPS on the throttle body. Pull it and clean it before you buy another one.

    Hello All

I live north of dallas How far north of Dallas? I am in Flowermound
  24. Drove mine down to Texas this summer from Denver. Had to park it once I got here though, too hot and no AC (did not buy it with AC cause I lived up north) Now that it has cooled down though, the brake master cyclinder gave up after 23 years so I havent pulled it out of the garage since the move.
  25. Just cracks me up....
